I remember first hearing the bassline in this song. I'd heard the song but never high fidelity enough that I could really hear what Deon was doing. Became obsessed with how he moved so well between groove and fill while always holding it down rock solid

My bass teacher used this as a warmup for all my lessons as it forces your left hand into the right shape, still play it now before i play anything else!
