Intermediate Level - Plectrum Study #2

This study piece has a funk flavour and is played with a swung sixteenth note feel. Although this might feel unusual to begin with, you should find that using a plectrum lends itself well to this kind of line and once you get it right, it’ll feel great to play.
I performed the line using a Fender Custom Shop ’67 Precision Bass strung with Rotosound strings, gauges .040, .060, .080, .100. The tone control on the bass was turned up full and the bass was recorded via a SansAmp Bass Driver DI. I used a Dunlop Tortex .073 plectrum.
