What part of the interaction between the officers and fishos was bad policing. They made sure that two fishos were legally fishing, and hopefully their interaction garnered two extra pairs of eyes to make life hard for those morons you see. Do you report illegal fishing???….

I wouldn't eat anything caught upstream from the Capt Cook bridge in the Georges River/Botany Bay system. Where do people think all the road runn-off, old car oil tipped down drains, and waste from the light industry at the head of Salt Pan creek goes? Even worse is people who fish the mouth of the Cooks river. They should take a pushbike ride up the track beside it to see what it really is from a few hundred meters upstream, a storm-water drain.

So glad the rangers are there. The amount of illegal fishing and under size fish being kept (especially by the Asian community) is unreal.
