Fr it feels just like the carnivore diet and that stuff. Just becaue there is something bad, doesnt mean to avoid it. Too much seed oils are bad, but so is too much meat, fruits, veggies, etc. Seed oils are shown to be perfectly fine for health in reasonable amounts.

But dieticians are often small women, while podcast dudes are men with overconfident voices....sigh.

Dietitians.. kind of like the doctors that universally forced a covid vaccine on people swearing it was safe? Or maybe the psychiatrics that were letting children mutilate themselves because the professional opinion was "its safe". Yeah.. seed oils must be just as safe as red 40... that nobody seemed to be against..

I was near high blood pressure, which is coming down due to weight loss. I have reduced my salt to 3.75g per day. I walk 1 hour and 15 mins per day. Last week I lost 5 lbs. I am on a restricted calories to 1600 and I have decided I will live within those parameters going forward. The trouble is I am actually having trouble getting enough calories on lower salt. I can't eat nuts, cereals, oats or eggs due to IBS and anismus without getting ill. So making up calories whilst ensuring I am under 30g per day sugar is becoming stressful. I am supposed to be becoming healthy and less stressed yet its pure stress planning every day. In the UK the shops are packed with foods with salt and sugar. Thats the food they make cheap and affordable. Can anyone help? MSG is great btw. I am Scottish but I use it alot. I love Chinese food.

Have you tried south Indian or srilankan food
@rangersnut6 күн бұрын
@vr7719 No but since cutting gluten completely I am feeling better than I have in years. I have also been walking at minimum an hour a day. Yesterday I did over 26,000 steps. In 5 weeks I have lost 16lbs. I love to cook. I was trained as a chef in the past but I have never came across much opportunity in Scotland for Sri Lankan food. What would you recommend as a good healthy and flavourful meal?

I wanna try low sodium diet, and I read that I could replace salt with MSG. But because I have never used it, so I'm scared if I put too much and it will taste bad. But then cooking is about trial and error (at least for me).

This seems like a lot of MSG compared to other spices. I’ve heard the more you use, the less enhancing it does. Do you think it’d still be good if you only used half the amount?

Why aren't your video views increasing? And not reaching people? The reason is: 1. Your video is not being SEO properly 2. Your video is not reaching the right people 3. Not using video hash tags properly 4. Not sharing the video on social media There are a few more reasons. That's why your videos are limited to your channel. Can't get out In a word, your video is awesome. Such videos are in great demand. If you do these things correctly. Hopefully, you will get a lot of visitors. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Stop advocating ultra processed food and giving these corperations money that contribute to the death and destruction of countless living organisms. Advocate for animal based, regenerative aggriculture. That will heal our world. Will mega conglomerates going out of business ? YES, but its for the good of humanity.

Thank you! I've been searching these keywords for about a year, trying to find people talking about dumping the guilt over using some convenience foods, storebought foods, packaged foods, and making "part-scratch" meals at home using partly bought pre-made things like pasta sauces. I struggle with so much guilt for not being authentic or cooking like people did decades ago or like my mother in law cooked in Mexico 40 years ago with no modern appliances or store food 😮😢 "How these costs and gains mean different things to different people" 🧡🧡🧡

I love dinner leftovers for breakfast or lunch! I used to think I liked "breakfast foods" for breakfast, but then my husband was always saying, when Id ask him if he wanted something "breakfasty", "No, I need food-food." Turns out he'll eat anything for breakfast that's heavier nutrients, idk the right terms, like eggs & tortillas, beans, chicken, beef stew leftovers....😅

Everything youre saying is just what I've been learning slow, hard, torturous way for the last 14 years as I came out or diet culture, diet BOOK culture, exercise culture etc... I get it, if its not the right season of life for you to be youtubing, you take the time you need. Just want you to know if you start posting again, I'll subscribe and I believe there is a growing audience for this. I dont know why your comment sections are so empty and so dumb. This is no joke. Why? Because I was one of the ones steeped in diet culture, diet BOOK culture/slavery, and exercise culture. I spent an entire summer tracking intake versus output, including intake of fat, calories, carbs, protein, potassium, fiber, sugar, and amino acids & vit B. Everything I ate, I had to do an output of more total calories burned in the day than consumed. It took hours on some days to get enough movement in. My proudest days were when I would eat only 900 calories (a 27-year-old adult female at that time) and then I "didnt have to exercise as much". All of it was bologna, foolish, and I ended up getting so sick and broken down.

🧡🧡🧡 Took me years to arrive to this same conclusion with tons of trial and error. I quit the food rules and torturously learned to stop measuring, counting, weighing, logging every single thing and its fat, protein, calories, carbs, potassium, sodium, sugar, and fiber (yes, I used to track it all on charts). Ive been searching for a channel like this for a long time!

we need sodium to live?? unless you got told by a doctor to eat less sodium, there's no reason to do this. it's just wasting time.

Assuming you're not consuming a lot of sodium... right??? RIGHT??????
@deepseaisopod6 күн бұрын
@masonallison8657 lol no, but I don't see it as useful to rinse my beans considering how small the amount of sodium difference is and that we need at least 500 grams per day and we can have up to 2,300 grams per day and still stay healthy.

@PapaEnoch052 yeah but 40 grams isn't any difference at all when we can stay healthy while having up to 2,300 grams per day and we require at least 500 grams per day
