For some odd reason, this finally worked for me. I needed to delete openal from the reg from an older install of stalker, yet I had deleted only stalker cop multiple times trying to get this to work. This mod didn't work for me when I kept just deleting cop only. I don't know why. Even before I had deleted the reg files of openal, I had gotten this mod to work on Win7 with no problems at all. So try that people try if you have installed stalker in the past any of the games to delete the reg file of open al and make sure you delete/disable all other sound files and leave only the default sound in the device manager.

reinstalling openal doesn't workThat's been said for years, even after installing it with the normal, fresh stalker games. I even have the regular cop, and it won't work with certain mods; it will give that sound error,like remake the highest former hd mod doesnt work on win 10 for me with cop/yet realism mod works still cant play this even after 6 months of commenting on this page how i couldn't run this version

immersion is there but the gameplay sucks compared to arma 3 reforger just trys to hard to be like squad with HARDCORE REALISM wich is just not arma if i want play something like squad i play squad and not arma also the movement is so bad and the gunplay too much squad like with immense weapon sway and no reall way to reduce that other than prone and beg also the visibillity is utter dogshit too cluttered and blurry even with ao and blur off

while it is an official arma game its goal is to function as a testbed for the new engine and to allow modders to familiarize themselves with the game/engine before arma 4 comes out

Well Arma Reforger is more of a game than past Arma titles. Also, DCS is more of a simulator than Arma Reforger.

Don't forget if the server admin wants to he can make the server PC only (disable cross-platform). That said on public server I don't see a difference in console vs. pc players. Couldn't say console players act any more childish or erratic as PC players, similar for aiming. Btw. Reforger will not get major content updates any more. There are only a couple of things missing from the roadmap, like mortars, suppressors, HQ high command role, some recon vehicles,... no new maps, much new gear or anything. Whatever they want to do with A4, we have to wait for that.

I think the lack of progression is definitely harming the game... There's still a lot of players who don't play with a community and need incentives to play. Yes they can jump on the back of other people who are trying to take towns and points - but they has to be a constant level of incentives to upskill and play. If games could have a global task creator, where within a game - Teams are tasked to attack or defend a group of locations... that would create more a more unified but intense experience.

Man i been looking for a tactical shooter that is me or friends against AI so i am so glad i found this video and just brought it to help encourage more games like this and helping the dev to keep working on it!
