the reason im so excited for stalker 2 is because its one of the games i grew up with , i played call of pripyat on launch on my dads work pc . I usually played on xbox but playing stalker cop was such a fun experience and i want to relive those memories.

Regarding the A-life 2.0 system, the same person who worked on the original stalker works on it, so he, like no one else, understands the system itself and "how it works".

Shadow of Chernobyl and other trilogy games a life is far downgraded compared to what is supposed to be on unreleased files and in oblivion lost build, if you want to experience true a life system play oblivion lost remake 3.0 whom restored true a life as it supposed to be.

i thank SO MUCH to GSC for delaying it, i have 3 exams with ALL the human Anatomy( all bones, muscles, organs ans tisues) / sistemic fisiology (nervous, respiratory, digestory, renal, cardiovascular and endocrine) oh and also all the embriology, and all the introduction to patologies the day 16/9. if they would have released it the 10/9 i would have completly reprove the most important test in my life. Takes allot to get my attention and engaged these days regarding gaming as I’m now 40, got into EFT for a bit but lost interest, then got into Gamma, got hooked, then got into Anomaly Custom recently and I’m just using that until Stalker 2 is released. Can’t wait, Im even more excited for the future mods of Stalker 2!

In the OG STALKER games your poverty stage isn't that long. After a few hours you'll have an abundance of weapon, meds and ammo.

You burnt out? Fair enough, I'm taking a break from Stalker content until Heart of Chornobyl releases. If you want try something else, have you ever tried Starsector? Sethztech made a video on it years back and core gameplay is the same it's just more updated now in the current version than back then. If you ever want to try to start with it I'd recommened having the Nexerelin mod for it just so the world feels more alive and less static. Like warfare mod in stalker and story mind in stalker. Originally played that for months straight after I picked it up. Got myself back into playing it and it still is an incredible experience. Got a fair few mods running now and haven't gotten burnt out after half a year of playing... with Starsector being my main game. Though it will be put on hold when Heart of Chornobyl releases.

Yeah you got it right in the intro there . . . we have been waiting for too long and other creators have come out with competitive versions of this "genre" look at Beautiful light for instance.

I understand the low expectations thing. But, man this is looking good. I'm excited because the apocalypse genre is my favorite. I'm also excited because I barely got a taste of the stalker world with Anomaly for 2 weeks, so the whole series is new to me minus the countless hours I spent modding it just to give up on it because of my crap pc. My old pc couldn't handle it. Old. But the mechanics in that were still amazing. This fact of the mechanics and based off of the graphics and statement about how she wanted to stay close to the original gameplay style tells me this is going to be phenomenal. Just, this looks like their final gem. I hope they have made it in a way where you could role-play as if your living in the zone. I mean, create a home or camp for yourself etc. You know, so you can build a life in the zone. Man I can't wait. I think this is going to finally be the apocalypse life I was hoping for for so long. Fingers crossed.

Honestly whenever i look at these gameplays my blood is boiling just watching it. I sure hope the game doesn't encourage that it's played like some kind of fast action packed cod shooter. On the other hand i really like how the exploration part is looking.

yep, i replayed the trilogy INCLUDING clear sky, which is really not that bad, really diffrent from the other 2, but i reach the same conclusion as you did, my expectation bar is trying really hard to go through the roof, but really needed my feet on the ground to not feel dissapointed. maybe its just a little bit too long, but we've been waiting for decades, whats a couple more moments do

​@@bluetherobot it's a JRPG from early 2000s and Akira Toriyama helped make the game went on sale for 5$ when he died on Xbox and it's a ReALLY SOLID RPG lots of good mecanicts in the game that mkae leveling up your party fun still a bit grindy but if you learn the mecanics it's not hard to fuigure out where effective spots are.... also the game is balanced really well mostly so i havn't felt the need to grind

I am VERY excited for a new, grown up, single player RPG experience. With all the flops and garbage in modern gaming, I just really hope this is a smash hit man. I think GSC is giving it everything they got. I believe they will deliver. I just need to upgrade my PC xD. That's my big worry, my PC and how well it will perform. System specs.... Radeon RX 6600 XT AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics 32 GB RAM My big worry is my CPU not being able to deliver 60 FPS on even low settings at 1080P. Also my GPU only has 8 GBS of VRAM

In originial stalkers you had enough ammo it wasn't really a survival game. You shouldn't look up to Mods like Anomaly or GAMMA if you're waiting for this kind of experience then you need to wait for mods for Stalker 2
