these sets will be allocated to suburban services very soon possibly on The T4 line. once the nif sets completed their testing while the deployment date is not known yet, as they will just still continue series of testing up until these nif sets are ready for the deployment on the blue mountains and central coast lines. its really important that the rail testing team that runs these test, does make sure they test all the safety systems/breaking & technology on board these newer sets, so that its safe for passenger service up until they enter service at some point into this year or next year. as the h sets will become a suburban set.

these models had an amount of extensive life running alongside the 0500LE CNG/citaro CNG & oranas. being in STA' s fleet as the 3 special Gen CNG & gas powered CB60 units that was commissioned a long decade ago.

keolis downer in Newcastle has these B12BLE CB60 units too. but with a difference aswell. with theirs not having an onboard cctv monitor like ours on the Sydney units. they were outer metropolitan outside of Sydney. being once another head operator in Newcastle ran by StA, under the Newcastle buses brand. these units didn't come equipped with the cctv monitor. like our city in Sydney does.

this used to be a brand new build for transit systems as it's region 6 units got a PID display screen onboard to displaying the following stops along the route. but currently of course transit systems had not put them in use yet. as they been working just displaying the Transit systems logo but not fully displaying any route stops. so it's currently not in active mode right now as it turns out. definetly still new, but instead may have use for it in the future. or either transit systems just keeps it as it is. I have no doubt that these optimus buses have good quality built body & features & interior is still looking good. it's the same model that CDC blue mountains transit had received this year.

i remember it was on the last video, that I said these had adopted the window design of the B7R cr228l units. as they yes are similarity unit to region 1 versions. they dont built these types of models anymore as they were for STA & Busways fleet.

these do resemble the ex transdev B12BLE version volgren units that my regions have at the hoxton park depot that was transferred from south Granville. it's definitely non two seaters at the front on the usual STA Built vehicles as sta has stayed the usual standard from having two style seaters at the front. as they were once government run bus operator in greater Sydney.

this CB60 unit was equipped with A B12BLE series engine from volvo. that Sta had strongly went for, onto their CB60 Models. but unlike CDC CB60 version. they chose more of a early version instead of the B12BLE ones in their Volvo series. that they felt its much better & cheap efficient for B10BLE being a suitable Engine that is more suited to their needs on their model.

there's definitely some good remininse of STA seat fabrics still attached on the seatings of this busways unit. because it's interesting. like region 1 their fleet had light great seating. & they refurbished some of former westbus scania units with their light grey seating fabrics. but with region 7 fleet. theirs did not change.

this articulated version is based on the standard model. they have the gangway in middle just like the urbos lightrail. to allow the passengers access the back end body. my region got transferred one in the past that has with the uplifted roof ontop that was once a red metrobus unit.

UPDATE 7/8/2024: From tomorrow onwards, this bus route will be operated by Busways Region 1 instead of Busways North West from R7. I still have a video that I’ve made onboard the 545 and the bus rego is m/o 1651. If I get a chance to go on the 545 again, I will make another video of any buses from R1. Lets hope Busways Ryde doesn’t transfer some of their allocations to Glendenning just to operate the route. Glendenning depot currently has 143 buses while Ryde has 275 buses.

transdev john holland is another operator who still uses CNG powered buses in their region. because CNG is very expensive & would have costed a lot of money for operators to run. it was not viable for other operators to have this type of fuelling infustructure at their local depots. because CNG is a type of gas they use is on a type of model that was specially built with tanks up bove on their CB60 models that is powered by cng. & with electric buses now had neen rolled out. the CNG CB60'S would be withdrawn in the future.

these are the one top exclusive built volgren optimus units that STA ordered from the volgren factory in Dandenong Victoria. had this inspired design from the transdev EX metrobus red Volvo b7rle Cr228l model. & added it onto their optimus body with the window design being from the Transdev redmetro bus B7RLE cr228l model. it became a successful model. the yellow poles on these had meant it was a, government run vehicle in the past. because they were knowingly known for being yellow. you could also find similar units like this with busways region 1 in western Sydney too. because their one therris a identical to these ex sta units.its however,region 1 volgren optimus units has open latch window design, instead of a non latch window design like region 7.

they are one the first i heard about. & that I remembered they used to be in the Sydney bus show where they showcased a lot of different buses. Australia has yet not operated one of these. as they are exclusive models overseas. that one I see is in Japan. while we currently have custom coaches elements & nexport element electrics here. my regions operator transit systems region 3 was about to trial a hydrogen foton bus in the past . while when it was getting delivered to hoxton park. although they went to another subsidiary company of transit systems In South Australia to start their trials there. we have yet to trial a hydrogen bus. Australia is already rolled out electric buses with transit systems getting the biggest order of custom denning elements to kingsgrove depot.

these ones were a handful of built special CNG custom coaches CB60 buses that has a tank at the top of the roof that gets filled up with special type of CNG gas from their depot. they still remain on the road today.

volgren Dandenong in Victoria had built a lot of these orders back in the day when STA was still a big government run operator at the time. & a lot of these were the articulated volvo B12BLE versions on a created design from the original cr228l Body that is from the usual look of the standard models. but this however is what that STA placed for on their high frequency runs. & their very reliable to be used on morning peak times when it gets busy. they since been passed onto new operators.

These were previously STA's B12BLE Evo 2 buses exclusively for their biggest operation in sydney that they previously operated in all their regions & these had been a part of their order to replace older models that is not low flow & accessible & that these have wheelchair ramps for loading disabled passengers & have wheelchair space for disabled and prams on board.

I do like Japan trains that I never been on before. their very quite nice & has more of a subway style like new York. & it feels like riding on them too. the metro style trains has some good benefits for passengers when they get to ride on good subway cars, their riding on the best metro system in the world. The UK version is the The Tube. they have magnificent tube trains there. just like new York & Japan.

oh yes that bus is from Bankstown depot & was a transfer from u go mobility last year.& they are the same models that we have at hoxton park depot that is also a transfer from transdev south Granville depot.
