volgren Dandenong in Victoria had built a lot of these orders back in the day when STA was still a big government run operator at the time. & a lot of these were the articulated volvo B12BLE versions on a created design from the original cr228l Body that is from the usual look of the standard models. but this however is what that STA placed for on their high frequency runs. & their very reliable to be used on morning peak times when it gets busy. they since been passed onto new operators.

Some of these buses are also used on school runs to add more students onboard the bus apart from using it during morning and afternoon peak hours. These buses can also be seen on high frequency routes such as the 333, 343, 304 and the 500X.
