Good job mate, if it’s got a rope seal forget it they are shit and it’s an absolute dark art to install them correctly the only way to go is you have the block machined to take the modern neoprene upgrade….. G’Day Davo, I’d recommend you use a SBC rear main seal or a ZOK drop in version. Get your inlet manifold hydro blasted, it brings aluminum up like new and if you aren’t planning on pulling the heads, those umbrella style valve stem seals work well for heads that are sucking a bit of oil. 👍

Hi mate are you a spray painter ? I have the same gun here never actually used it it, I normally use a hvlp spray gun but my compressor is struggling to keep a consistent pressure, for example I start spraying the panel around 27psi by the time I finish the panel it’s dropped to about 10-13psi. I know this gun is a lvmp and I’m just curious if this would suit a 3hp 50L compressor better or won’t make a difference
@davohq1724
@davohq1724 Жыл бұрын
Hi mate, I'm not a spray painter. Are you measuring the pressure at the gun or the compressor? I've got a 100 litre compressor and it just manages to spray a door before it starts up again. Ideally I would get a compressor more than double the size I have now.

hi good pads are available from RDA called Phantom pads . They are ceramic which according to RDA and Bendix low dust ,low noise, low rotor wear and long lasting . Increase in max limit operating temp vs standard . Anything classed heavy duty will have poorer outcomes . The low dust is good for me as I run old school polished alloy mags unsealed . I could not find any other real good pads ie ceramic for cast iron PBR part no DB6 Disc Brake Australia does a street performance pad also but does not saY construction material .
