the locomotive 2472 makes its move and can be seen at the Hearst interchange of the Nile’s canyon railway, Union Pacific power would arrive and the 3 locomotives wait for the arrival of the Union Pacific, once it is ready the consist would be pulled and Union Pacific would back up and arrive at another location to attach onto the 3 locomotives in the front, after being moved to the new location a California northern (i think) arrives to pick up the consist, considering it’s 100th birthday on that day, a northwestern pacific waits for the bridge and crosses it and picks up the 2472 (a p-8 class 4-6-2), Fairbanks Morse h12 44 1487, gp9 3194 once the 3 locomotives arrive at the yard the locomotive starts its restoration as of today. This locomotive is back on steam but however 2472 won’t be running for a while, it will sit there waiting for operational service once again, Sister p-8 4-6-2 2467 is on static display at the CSRM (California State Railroad Museum) and it is listed on the Nile’s canyon railway list. 2472 has completed its restoration and steamed up for the first time in 6 years or more despite sitting at a location for a long time having its rods rust up, etc 2479 is being rebuilt but anyways as of today, 2472 will run once again soon. As of October 14th, Southern Pacific 2472 has completed her overhaul which is one part i forgot to say.
