We're doing something different in this video! Treefrogflag Productions Trevor Park and Paul Nolan take you step by step through how to speed-match a locomotive with a TCS WOW Diesel sound decoder to a locomotive with Soundtraxx Tsunami Sound in it. Along the way we'll show you a little bit about these locomotives and as well as the dos and donts of programming the WOW Sound. So enjoy this Treefrogflag Production and make sure to watch in HD and like, comment and subscribe. And make sure to like the Treefrogflag Productions Facebook Page at / treefrogflagproductions . Thanks for watching and enjoy!

This is great and helpful thank you! I have a bachmann ALC-42 with WOW Sound that I am looking at speed matching with an Athern Genesis P42 with a Tsunami decoder. This video has been extremely helpful in determining how that might be accomplished.

Thanks for posting! Would it be possible to show a video of your layout/ track plan, and show how you did the wiring? I've recently gotten back into Model railroading and I want to build an SP inspired layout as well. Anyways, thanks again!

I may be building a new layout in the future. Maybe we could look at some of those subjects then. Glad you enjoyed the video. ~Trevor

I have an Athearn Genesis Sd70m-2 that I just recently had a TCS installed into and also have an Athearn SD70I with the new Tsunami 2 in it I have an NCE powercab and I used JMRI to speedmatch the locomotives I think I have them running pretty good together but my problem is when I go up through the speedsteps they run great if I let them run for say a minute then go down a notch they suddenly stop even though they are still fairly high in the speed steps. I.E. running at step 40 go down to 39 and they stop bring it back to 40 they get going then if you gradually go down to the lower speedsteps they run great but will do the same thing stop suddenly just by goin down a notch or 2 what could be causing this? Thanks

Do both of them do this? And do they do it when they're not speed matched?
