The first guy said the bachelor party scene was the most unrealistic part, I'd say Richie firing that weapon in the air with zero consequences was the most unrealistic part. That's a felony in Illinois with a 4 to 15 year sentence.

The new big mac is like the old one, only ithat's been left in the box sitting on top of a radiator for a couple of days. Dry and stale tasting, none of the sloppy sauce dissolving the middle bit of the bun, which is now like a dry bit of stale bread. The lettuce is horrible as well. I did enjoy the hatrick burger, but it is limited. I been eating Big Macs since the early 1980s., not a lot, but I prolly have one every 6 weeks or so on average. I am not sure I will bother again. I tried the new one three times, each one at a different branch, in case I had a bad one, but, yeah, don't really like it. It's a shame, really. It's alright, I suppose, but not really worth the bother/calories/etc for me now as it is at best a bit meh?. If they mess up the sausage McMuffin as well, which will probably only be a matter of time. I probably won't ever go there again. Sure they do stuff I can eat okay, but I want my junk food to really be a treat, nd the new big mac just falls way short for me.

Don't like the new version. Too much sauce so it is nothing but a mess when you eat it. It's all you tast. Too little beef for all that bun. I haven't ordered another one in months where I would get the old one a couple of times a minth.

I don't see how McDonald's can compete with Wendy's or Burger King their large burgers are still large burgers with significantly more meat than a Big Mac

What they changed was the size and increased the price!!! The Big Mac was a good burger in the late 90’s - early 2000. Now they are so small it’s just a baby cheese burger

The ONLY way to eat a Big Mac is WITHOUT the middle bun. It allows you to taste the beef and also ingest less bread. It also insures that you dont get served a ' heat lamp " burger. Win, Win 🏆

Saw a trick on a video where apparently if you ask for a McDouble “dressed like a Mac” you basically get a Big Mac without a middle bun for half the price. Not sure if that works outside of the US though.

Had hexclad for less than 6 months and realized it had coatings. Luckily costco took them back no questions asked. Been a journey (fun one) discovering stainless steel and carbon steel pans. My current line up though expanding; hestan nanobond/probond 8.5/12in frying pans Deymeyre frying pan and 3.5L sauce pan Darto Carbon Steel 4mm 12in Debuyer Blue carbon steel wok Out of all the hestans are my favorite but prices without being on sale are crazy heritage steel and made in is definitely on my watch list for expanding my pots and pans

The big change in McDonald's burgers, and not just the Big Mac, occured about 20 years ago. It was imho a disaster. The old method for preparing burgers was to put a quantity (let's use 8) of 1/10 lb. patties on the grill. When it was time to flip the burgers, the cook would ask how many need cheese (let's say 5). The cook would then flip all of the patties, and place a cheese slice on five of them. The patties would finish cooking, and the cheese would be melted/welded to them. The cook would then assemble the burgers, wrap them in white or yellow wrap (HB/CB), and slide them into the chutes that led to the front counter. The register person would then simply pull the pre-assembled burgers from the chiefs when they were ordered. Simple, fast, and tasty. Then someone decided that customers didn't like to get food that was already packaged, and so developed a system wherein parties were cooked without cheese, and stored in a warming tray. When a hamburger is ordered, the patty is pulled from the tray and the burger is assembled. That's fine. But when a cheeseburger is ordered, the same process is done except that a slice of cheese is added, with the hope that the warm patty will melt the cheese. But even close. So this is why you now get burgers at McDonald's with luke warm and soft cheese, and not melted. It's because McDonald's thinks it's better to serve you patties that have been sitting in a warmer behind the counter where you can't see them, instead of ones that have been sitting under a warmer in your view. You're still getting paid that have sitting under a warmer, but you don't get the good melted cheese. If you ever have a chance, some of the McDonald's that have extremely high traffic still use the old system. The one outside of the train station in Kyiv is one such. I recommend you brave the crowd just once, and try a cheeseburger made the old way. You'll see a huge difference.

Dump the two thin meat patties and middle bun and replace a seared 1/4 patty of beef! OBTW- McDonslds does not want you to taste the beef because it is so bland….there are too many carbs in the existing Big Mac!

They sometimes have what they call a “Grand Big Mac” on the menu, which is exactly that, a Big Mac with 1/3 pound of meat instead of 1/4. Although it’s usually a limited time item and doesn’t appear often.

The Bread recipe was changed around the same time as the Subway Bread recipe was as well. The Patties are definitely smaller too and the "cook" is different. These are supposed to be "healthy" changes. But truth is that one doesn't go there for healthy. Put some butter or fat on the grill for the cook of all the patties. Also bring back the fried apple pies. $15 bucks for a Big Mac Meal is crazy.

Grass fed is better than grain fed due to the high omega 6's from grain fed beef, which can lead to heart disease. So actually a more healthier option if you can't find grass fed locally.
