Adding the whipped egg whites to the warm honey is a technique to me, and I like it. I also like that the hot sugar syrup is added to fully cook the egg white. I think these two hacks make this recipe bulletproof against goof-ups.

I made the Italian way, using my hand and it tasted great! Only thing missing is the Italian flour. Norwegian flour can't match that.

I made these for my son's birthday yesterday. He had them earlier this year when he went to Rome and loved them so much that I wanted to make them for him. They turned out great!
