I had one that I used for years. For convenience and also to balance my backpack and bring some weight to the front, as I have a bad back. Just recently gave it to my nephew. I was never comfortable wearing it without a jacket cos I'm a female with a heavy chest and the straps used to really announce that so I was very conscious and uncomfortable with that. Otherwise, it fit all the gear I'd need convenient access to around camp or when we went for a walk or hunt, and also reduced weight on my back. Very practical front pack.

When I heard the last knife called the "Chad Los Baños" knife I thought, "Wait a minute...the "Chad The Bathrooms" knife?! Ya never know! The video chapter says "Chad Los Lobos," but Blade HQ does indeed sell "Chad Los Baños" knives, haha!

"The 4 or 5 bucks these cost..." I just bought a 3 pack for $26. They're extremely useful but obscenely overpriced. True to the Victorinox spirit, I guess. The second a Chinese manufacturer puts these on Amazon at 10 for $5, this company is toast.

This looks great but isn't there a risk of contaminating the tube? Like if the bladder is dripping wet because you dunked it in the water source, won't that get onto the tube and into your water bottle? Just wondering how that's prevented.

I did a full cycle of having: - A crappy gathered-end hammock - A haven tent - A draumr amok 5 - A good, long gathered end hammock with an integrated ridgeline And although I loved the comfort of laying in the haven tent and especially in the draumr, I am sticking to my cheaper, lighter and more reliable choice - the good gathered end and a tarp. I got the pad of the haven fail on me, making it useless, and I have gotten soaking wet in a draumr in a storm, just because draumr acts like a giant funnel bringing every drop of water under your butt.

My only gripe is how large the collars are. There is definitely some performance aspect to that design with sun protection but there are still a lil too oversized

yes, I have come home from a weekend trip, where I brought my newly purchased garden xl hammock with me and had to test it where I had it up to hang. I had tested it on the ground at home in the garden, and there I found it really good , except that the tarp was not waterproof. It was not a good experience because when I had hung it up and had to lie down in it to sleep, well, the whole sheet split so it was not possible to sleep in the hammock, I was deeply disappointed and now I had no bunk to sleep in so I had to crawl under the small tarp on the ground when I couldn't get home when I was on a trip to a desert island and I was really disappointed that the hammock splits like that the first time you use it when bought brand new. So not a hammock I would recommend

I've had my HC30 since April 5th, 2016. Your video helped to confirm my purchasing of it. I removed the top strap when new, and don't feel its necessary. Today (5/23/24) I received a replacement rubber bracket (I broke it) & headband (stretched from years of use). I've never used the turbo mode as I think high is more than adequate. This light is used almost everyday. The 1 lumen setting is great for entering a bedroom & not waking anyone. A rather late "Thank You" for your review.

I've had my Orange Seeker Pro 2 for many years. Last night, unbeknownst to me it fell off a shelf in my garage and rolled on the concrete floor. It stopped right under the front tire of my CUV. This morning when I was backing the CUV outta the garage, I heard a very loud popping noise. Apparently, the light got thrown hard as my front tire ran it over. It's scuffed up and the nice orange finish is now kinda funky looking. Aside from that, it runs like new and every function runs perfectly. These O-Lights are the only flashlight I'll ever buy. They're super tough and all of mine have been through the ringer multiple times. Not a single issue. This accident this morning really impressed and demonstrates how tough these things are built. If it helps, I bought this one during a goofy flash sale when they first came out. I'm very impressed

I have a REV & purchased the NXT at HD for $40 & change...I bought it to give my REV a break when I want to strictly pocket carry on a light day when I'm out & about...the REV is considered the runt of the litter, vis-a-vis the Wingman & the Sidekick, but I feel it has a good plier head, cutters, a very sharp knife, good fit & finish & that package opener which is excellent...all it needs is a Wave - type scissors & it would be just right...I purchased it at HD for $20 & change years ago....wouldn't now, too expensive...the NXT has a nice tool set, sharp knife, scissors, all outside & they lock, designed for medium to light use...you can carry it with a dedicated folder...all-in-all, a nice tool for a decent price...a good starter tool for beginners & a nice addition for those who collect & use multitools...Good review, thanks!!😊

The best multitool on the market as far as I'm concerned. The fit and finish of the Swisstool X is without peer, and the high quality polished stainless steel throughout makes Leatherman tools look and feel cheap in comparison.

@Durwood71 3 күн бұрын
@@wjmba The ARC is probably the most uncomfortable multitool I've ever held. It has sharp, 90 degree corners everywhere on it. It could have been a great multitool if Leatherman had done a better job on the finishing stage to round out the edges. It is also highly prone to rust.

Let me just say having just recently purchased this. I use a knife every day for stripping conductor. I use a pocket knife everyday. This is good for someone who doesn’t know how to sharpen a knife with a stone or even a chain saw file or bastard file. This is no magic sharpening device for those of us who know how to sharpen a knife in the first place. Save your money.

Just so I'm clear on this... Suunto heard for years that the number one complaint about the original Core was that the display was too dim even when turned up, and so therefore they decided to degrade it even further in the upgraded model. Got it. Makes sense
