I'm eyeing this system up... it states on the Rev9 website that the hanger bracket needs modifying? Anything major?
@mil56063 жыл бұрын
If you have the spyder, for some reason there is no mod required at all. But if not, there will be some welding required. Nothing a good shop couldn't handle, but it will add to the install invoice.
@dithermotor68233 жыл бұрын
@@mil5606 I'm in the UK, so maybe the mechanical specs are slightly different. Still, with the excellent value of the Rev9, it easily offsets any additional labour charges.

I live next to Ft Bragg they fly low level right over my house everyday. And notice they didn't use the trust reversers those engines would not like all that dirt.
@mil56063 жыл бұрын
The engines were fine. The plane is designed for this. The thrust reversers are out. You can see the white honeycomb area (white strip on the engine nacelle) that’s usually underneath the engine panel is slid back when activated.
@badmonkey22223 жыл бұрын
@@mil5606 i wasn't wearing my glasses and I did not see a plume of dust going forward, I'm well aware of how reverses work I'm a pilot myself, and they're not so much designed for large amounts of dirt as they are designed to deal with it if maintained properly, it gives maintenance crews a pain in the ass because it gets into everything, especially that Iraq dirt, but anyways thanks for the response. 👍
