I definitely don't think it's a 10, no new endings, it doesn't wrap up unfinished quests (mainly Melina) there where less weapons in the new categories than I would have liked to see, and I think the end boss was a let down.

HAAARRRRD agree. esp heavy on the story part. barely any of the bosses have actual cut scenes, not even some of the mandatory ones. rellana doesn't even have dialogue. romina has no overarching relevance ina way that matters. and the map direction is kinda so shoddy since all u do is go towards shadowkeep and come back. not even defeating the final boss felt like anything. not even mentioning the fact that it affects Nothing in the base game. bloodborne, dark souls, none of them have ever had a dlc that has no impact on the base. just feels either rushed or ill thoughtout. i also do have some qualms with the story but thats just my beef with GRRM LMFAO but great video!

true, i played the base game for 1400h+, the dlc played it once and i didn't feel like playing it again, i tried but it didn't felt right, the big map feels empty., 7/10 compared with the base game, 10/10 compared with anything else story could have continued from the base game by rewarding exploration with info about what happend insted of fking smithing stones and ghost glovewart

There's something that deeply bothers me that one of the first criticisms of the dlc is that it has a functioning story and doesn't make you read as many item descriptions

I enjoyed the dlc a lot and liked how difficult it was. But the last boss of the dlc was just ridiculous. That 2nd phase completely ruined the bossfight experience. It wasnt challenging fun it was just unenjoyable. Not to mention it seemed like some of his attacks were just a guaranteed hit. Frankly, the only weak part of the dlc for me. I give it 8.5 out of 10 for me

When compared with other games 10/10. But yeah, I agree with you, but I give 8/10 for being an expansion for not doing anything about the performance issues with the base game.

Playing thru the base game on new game plus 3 with some of smithsctipt weapons and it's so much fun. The hammer is obviously the best but the other ones are fun too. The spear is super useful on horseback cause it can still be thrown and I'm running duel axes for catacombs and dungeons with the frost stomp ash of war for good aoe against groups of enemies. Feel like no one is talking about these weapons but so far they are my favorite of the new ones. Esp the hammer that shit slaps hard

how do i let my pc download the mod manager as the security is denying extract and deleting file?

this video was a huge help when I installed my mods :D however, I have encountered a problem D: the day after installing the BG3MM plus all the mods, I couldn't open the mod manager anymore. I believe I'd made a shortcut to my desktop but it wasn't there, so I went to its location in my file explorer and tried to open it, but couldn't. I could still play the game and the mods were working without issue, but after the game crashed earlier today and I relaunched, it now says the mods have been disabled and thus the save file could be unstable. I don't want to open the save file in case it messes anything up, but I can't for the life of me get mod manager to open. Help >.<

hmm when i drop the script extender into bg3s bin folder, and than i try to run bg3 via steam, im getting a warning via bg3 about installed mods, the only folder in my bg3s mods folder is now the modfixer.pak ... did we maybe fcked up the timeline here? should we first dropp the extender into bg3s bin, than run bg3, and than add the modfixer into bg3s mods folder? Seems like suicide with such a light armor, i prefer to sacrifice jumping attacks damage, get heavier armor and and defense boosting talisman. I dont like anxiety with every enemy encounter couse i might die in 2 hits.

Note: This build that you made IS good, it seems to run really nicely! I just felt like sharing how I run the weapon. I run this on Flame Art because for some reason, increasing FAI bumps BOTH physical and fire, getting a 1023 AR with no temporary buffs. For talismans, I use the same ones except the 20% physical negation one replacing the rotten insignia because I’m bad 😅. You also get to play a full erdtree seal faith caster on top of everything. And as a bonus, if you ever run out of flasks, you can swap to a fully optimized Blasphemous Blade setup for HP regen! Edit: Completely unrelated, but if Frenzied Burst is your only incantation with scaling and you have a lot of both Int and Faith, you might want to consider the Frenzied Flame seal.

Hey! I've followed this video but I'm having troubles with launching. Upon launch whether it be by steam or the Mod Manager a tab saying Failed to apply script extender update pops up and I can't use any mods that need it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, validating files and reinstalling the mod manager and trying again from scratch but the same issue persists! Does anyone have a fix for this?

Ok maybe I’m just bad but I feel like all the damage your taking bc of the armor no defense talismans?

I was rather dissapointed in the traits a necromancer gets, how weak grim harvest feels and how little you actually summon an "army" of undead (more like a squad honestly). At the same time i was dissapointed that NONE of the undead summoning equipment other than the staff is really good for a WIZARD necromancer but then it occurred to me - you could easily respect the other characters to be an oathbreaker paladin, a arcane trickster/wizard rouge, and a spore druid, and now have not only an ACTUAL army at your command (with each character commanding a squad or unit per say), but also get full use out of all the necromancy spells, give the ring and circlet to the paladin, give the spore robe to the druid ofc, im sure there's something necrotic for the rouge, heck maybe the lantern since they'll very often be in your backline with a bow anyway! - grim harvest, the idea of using your necromancy spells for damage is rather lackluster in this game, they will not hit that hard, and while vampiric touch is the best option yeah a wizard getting into melee isn't a smart move but here me out. Second Marriage is an item you get in Act 1, allowing you to summon a zombie for 10 turns infinitely with no rest or restriction. now sure this zombie doesn't have crawling gnaw, nor does he get buffed by a necro-wizard BUT he does get undead fortitude..... what if you kept him at your side at all times and in an emergency you vamp touched him to heal yourself? a health-bank if you will. -i think elemental adept is also a great pick for a necromancer because while you can't pick necrotic or poison (which are very thematic for necromancy and do get resisted often, you CAN pick ice, which is also thematic to necromancers and the possibility of making damage spells known for their crowd control even better!? oh yeah sign me up
