The best so far Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands together oh yes please. A shame you did not put New Zealand Story onto this pack rather than the last as that would have been an even more excellent selection of games.

I loved the game in the C64 and then Amiga versions and I'm happy to see it return, but honestly I find the addition of the lighting or bloom effect VERY annoying and it adds NOTHING to the original game! I hope there are other noteworthy additions!

£43 for an old game, you can shove that somewhere. No wonder people pirate software when the customer is getting ripped off.

Sure it'll cost a little, but the nostalgia factor and the fact that you'll get a real neat treat here might convince the majority of fans and some current shmupists

I always wait for the modern titles to drop into sales promotions before I commit or buy modern titles from smaller developers. When it comes to games like X out featured here I will shell out more. 40 quid is nothing to begrudge because X Out is actually a very nice shooter even in 8 and 16 bit formats. I paid a lot more for Pulstar and Blazing Star but I have small software collections for 9 systems 8 bit to present day PC titles. I’m waiting for a good, modern Paradroid game along with some of the up and coming Sega releases. I would definitely pay the asking price for Xout or some amount close to it but will also pass on Megaman Titles and various other IPs. I remember X out being a very slick game but will check out reviews.

I cannot find any online footage of the 48K version but the 128K version has sound. UPDATE: I've just found out from KZbinr Zeusdaz that the 48K version does indeed have no sound whatsoever.

Is there a normal release of this that will be available via Amazon in the US, or Play Asia? the wording on the website is vague and seems to imply on the special edition is exclusive and there will be a normal release. I'm also worried about your affiliation with SLG. Will you actually ship the games? thank you

Just preordered, look's good, I never played the original. Glad you guys are doing some SEGA stuff, (hope you do a epic Shenmue collectors Edition) though my all time favourite shooter is Thunderforce V, I hope perhaps you might get the rights to the series and do a remake / remaster of the series, that would be epic, here's hoping 🤞🏻

Loved the Original so much on C64 and Amiga. I remember I got the Demo from the only issue of "64'er Disc", I believe. I'm really looking forward to Resurfaced! ✨

These are emulations that they're selling you. But I agree that we should support devs as much as we can as long as they keep making them available. There's so many games that aren't or will never be available without emulation that are lost to time or the original hardware. @@the-NightStar

@@the-NightStar I think they would sell more copies if they put some effort in and added additional things into the mix instead of just the roms most people could easily download online. The Atari 50 Collection that came out recently is the sort of thing I mean. I will still buy this as it is a physical release which is one good thing they did.

ININ got the US rights to Darius Cozmic Revelations, which contained several titles including GDarius and DariusBurst, and then sold the contents as separate titles because they wanted the extra shekels. F ININ.
