I did not get any emails from Poshmark informing me of the changes. I also did not sell a single item this last week.

THEY are charging buyers fees to offer a chance to return an item if not correct. It is beyond terrible. I bet some buyers don't realize the extra fees being added yet. This same fee structure has killed Mercari. Poshmark is being very greedy. Their profits have pretty much doubled. It is going to ruin Posh.

My sales were normal for a couple days after the fee change… But after that, I’ve had several no sales days. I do think the hurricane is playing a big effect since this is across all platforms.

I turned off my shipping discount in PosherVa because I wasn’t completely sure either. I’m hoping they are getting the advertised shipping price. All the changes have been a little bit confusing. Fingers crossed sales keep going up and buyers keep shopping.

I heard if you are an ambassador Poshmark will pay for the shipping until January 1. But I could be wrong. That’s what people are saying on KZbin.

It's easy to see which of the KZbin shills are getting paid by poshmark.

If I select $5.95 shipping when I'm manually sending offers, it deducts the $2.02 from estimated earnings. If I send the offer with no discounted shipping, I'm not getting the deduction, and the buyer is getting the $5.95 shipping...so I would remove the discounted shipping if i was using Posher VA.

If you don't list weekly or you are not an ambassador, you don't share your closet or you have old lists from 5 or 10 years ago, don't expect to have any benefit from anything, that is a dead closet.

shipping discounts only work for BUY NOW, and in this Beta test It only works for ambassadors, both buyers and sellers, not everyone qualifies, as there are buyers and sellers who are not ambassadors, they do not have the privilege of the discount or the fee, therefore if you send an offer with a shipping discount, keep doing it. From PK it depends on who qualifies or not, if you send offers manually you can check who is an ambassador or not, normally if someone is going to buy, they will counteroffer you for the offer because that person does not benefit from anything. That is why there is the other shipping discount, it only qualifies if you are active weekly listed, therefore you will have a discount on shipping in BUY NOW, whether or not you are an ambassador, you will have a discount only in BUY NOW.

I do wonder if we will be making about the same once shipping goes back to regular price , since fees are taken off total sale .

I haven't watched any of the Canadian youtubers on the fee changes, but as a Canadian seller, I don't see this ending well at all if it is implemented up here. Most of us don't have access to the low bins type pricing the US has, so we already have to price things higher. Add to that, the $13.50 shipping costs, and the fact that Canadians can pay upwards of 15% tax on shipping and purchases, adding another 6% to the price for a buyers fee couldn't possibly be good for anyone. Perhaps the changes won't happen here, but I think it is time to start really focussing on other platforms. It appears that Poshmark wants to limit themselves to the US only. 😕😕

Poshmark is paying for Shipping $5.95 until end of this year only due to the change with the 5.99% etc.! Everybody's Sales will go down! Your sales and you were lucky a lot of Buyer don't know yet and it was the first weekend again you were lucky you will see!

I had my first experience of a buyer backing out of a full-price sale because it went from $40 for the item to $56 at checkout. Thankfully the next day she sent an offer, and I accepted. However, this was after I had discounted my entire closet by 10%. I'll be very curious to hear how it goes for you and other top sellers I watch on KZbin. I am hearing mixed reports so far. Also, the 1097 is no longer available on the USPS online store. I saw that they were discontinuing them several weeks ago, so I stocked up. Unfortunately that's the box I use the most. Please keep us posted!

Buyers have not yet fully acquiesed to the brevity of the fees. Wait a month or two then compare your sales to last year. Time for ya to get on eBay girl!

I have noticed that when I send an offer, they don’t see that it has the discounted shipping so the offer doesn’t seeem as appealing and I’ve been getting less sales from not offering discounted shipping

Hello McKenzie! What does it mean to share your closet? I do not have a poshmark account. Do your put your items in your closet before the video comes out? I would buy from you because I feel you buy top quality items but am a large and do not see much in that size. You tell us so much and I appreciate it so much. Can you tell us how many items are in your closet when you put out a video? Blessings!

I just noticed the shipping “discount” feature, if you click on one of your listings, it will say “get $5.95 shipping from this closet” so, if you send an offer, with discounted shipping, it will be taken out of your earnings, but if you send an offer without discounted shipping, they still get $5.95 shipping, so, start sending the offers without shipping discount, at least that’s what I understand, if anyone else has a different understanding, please leave a comment. My sales stopped after the fees, I think they are pretty bad because the mail already covers your packages if something happens to them, the insurance is included with the postage, so if a package gets lost they pay you and poshmark doesn’t take the money until the buyer accepts the item, so this is (bologna) please excuse my lenguaje, I received a very low offer and the buyer was so kind to explain to me why and it is because of the poshmark fees, I don’t know whats going to happen, I already wrote to poshmark about it, if we all poshmark sellers unite, we can make an impact, at least that’s what I think

I was making consistant sales and then starting the day changes happened my sales went to 0 had no sales at all for October.

A couple of things leap to mind, namely that Priority Shipping is insured so despite Poshmark paying both parties, they would be filing there claims with the post office for reimbursement. In terms of good customer service, I actually think for all the fees they charge they are comparatively the worst. Their customer service violate their own stated policies ALL THE FREAKING TIME! They even say, "policy says that but we don't go by that?" If policy isn't framing job descriptions then individual employees are simply being allowed to do whatever they heck they want. In my estimation the net result in a much higher rate of return requests for things like "it doesn't fit" or "I don't like the way it looks". Not something that ever happens on other platforms with no return policies. The other thing I've noticed is Poshmark mismarking delivery dates, which means they are holding money for delivered packages for an extra day. The company is aware of the problem, but don't fix it which makes me wonder about the company's financial health.

You said you never go to the mall and I don’t either but now I’m thinking maybe we resellers should go and kind of do what Jack and Ryan did and do a deep dive into what’s selling to the masses, for lack of a better word. I watch a lot of Milan Streetwear vids. The clothing people wear are a bit out of my reach but it’s sure good for learning about silhouettes and the latest trends. After a while you start to see many of the same pieces. Just thinking out loud.

Shipping is increasing at USPS so I guess the fee structure was inevitable. I wish they would have given us a little more time to adjust, but my early thoughts are that we will earn more money.

I haven't had any sales since the change and as a buyer, the fee change prevented me from placingan order. The fee was an additional $20. 😳 I sadly had to pass on the offer.

similar experience for me, McKenzie... 1) I'm not Posh ambassador 2) I don't pay for promoted closet 3) I'm a high ASP seller, $67, with 1,500 items. i was STUNNED at how my sales started popping off!! 9 items sold over the weekend totalling almost $1000! I don't even have many under $50 items, but those definitely weren't getting any attention. but slowed down a bit now

My sales have slowed but I’ve been doing a lot more lives and being more active and I’ve been making decent sales. I would say be more active than usual on the app and you should see a difference.

My $3 experiment today: sending out a $4.99 shipping discount offer. It was accepted and posh charged me $2.98 😑 sigh. Do not be me.

From my understanding don’t send discounted shipping because you already have the $5.95 shipping. When you send offer just put no shipping offer.
