Can confirm the install steps are spot on. I just put these on my 2016 (Roadtrek Zion). They are much brighter, but I did run into something the first day using them. When the headlights are on there is a loud humming sound, like a fan running. I don’t know what is going on, I may have to restore the original headlights until I can make sense of this.

The headlights do have fans built into them. If there is a particular bulb that is abnormally loud we can send you a replacement. Just shoot us an email at [email protected]

Has there been an update to this kit that does not use the red gasket maker? I saw another video that has white brackets that go between the socket and the LED bulbs.

What happens if you plug in the wrong way positive and negative and negative to positive or is that even
@juggernautusa
@juggernautusa Жыл бұрын
The headlight bulbs will line up with the housing so that it is always plugged in with the correct polarity. Of the fog lights don’t light up when power is sent to them, just unplug the connector and rotate it 180 degrees. No damage will be done if they are plugged in the wrong way!

I was struggling to get the low beam installed until I saw your tip about putting the bulb in the hole fist, then push the socket in over it. That worked, as opposed to my first attempt at pushing in the bulb and socket in while connected together. Thanks!

How much uptravel do you have with the coil overs set up the way you did it? I was think about doing a similar setup. Any chance you could do a video on the setup showing the upper and lower shock mounts? There is not much information on this type of setup on an XJ. Thanks
@juggernautusa
@juggernautusa Жыл бұрын
We can definitely post a video. So it has 10" travel shocks that are mounted about 4" back from axle center so the total wheel travel is around 11.5". The up-travel on the shock is set at 4.5" so little over 5" at the wheels.

I installed this myself and didn't have access to a floor jack. To hold it in place during the install, I found two helpful tricks. The first was to first screw in the extra nuts (for the stand-off kit, not shown here) instead of the locking nuts on all four sides. The regular nuts are a lot easier to screw on and I was able to get it in place quickly this way. Then, I went side by side and unscrewed the regular nut to replace it with the locking nut. The second trick was to swing my leg directly under the generator and use the inside of my knee to hold up the plate. This got tiring fairly quick, but was just enough time to get the regular nuts in place.

I can’t get much off your web page but I want to put a ctis system on my 2006 M1165. If you develop the hardware, please post a new video. Keep in mind, water proof everything. For some reason, we HMMWV owners like to drive under water if we have an extended snorkel and exhaust pipe. Lol. It is the closest thing to a submarine that we get, I guess. Lol

Awesome System & programming!🤩👌🏻 Some suggestions- 1.Make the Screen lil bit smaller & design the outer casing like the Spod touchscreen. 2.Place the connectors on the rear of screen so that it can be dash mounted for a cleaner factory look. 3.Make it Bluetooth,wifi compatible with Adroid,ios App so it can be controlled while from outside the Vehicle like the JW speaker J3 headlights. Your product has revolutionised the CTiS system! To get this product blow up the internet & some good bussiness get in touch with Predetor Inc,Mod Mafia,Mil-Spec Automotive,Xtreme Hummer performance,Chris Fix!😁

From out facebook convo: 1. Yeah the plan is to have a panel that swaps into the existing CTIS panel. I do like the case. Definitely need to make water-proof for the open tops. 2. The connectors will be hidden for the final products. 3. The control device does have bluetooth and wifi. Definitely need to build an app to control remotely :) Have toyed with the idea of having the screen just be a removable tablet that conects wirelessly to the control system. 4. Yeah waterproofing is definitely on the list! 5. I will definitely add some animations :) Working with a designer to make the UI really clean. Please let me know if you have anymore feedback! Also feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected] if you wanna chat more :D
