this granny square is so beautiful, i can’t even find the words to describe it. i decided i want to make a dress using it, but since i’m not that advanced (i only learned how to crochet last month) i can’t figure out how to do a triangle from this square. maybe you have some tips? 🥹

My first granny square! I know it's not great and I have to try again and again but I couldn't understand other tutorials. Also, thanks! Now I get what all these numbers and letters mean, I thought it's way harder than it actually is

Hi! Row 11 I see the pattern change, and after counting the stitches I’m still landing at 106 stitches when I write them all out and do the math as well as when I’m crocheting. Are you not counting the corner single crochets as stitches?

This is very cute! I love the color combo that you did in the video. Also, in the step at 4:02, I didn't cut mine, but I just joined the new color and went into the next 3ch space, and it came out just as fine. I'm more of a continuous join person because I kept getting messed up when I cut it completely. Still, I love it! I'm going to check out your moon design too. :) This is going to go great with the hood I'm making for my sweater. I'll also check out your etsy! Thank you for posting this!

Misery loves company. I tried to follow the instruction to the T, but mine came out wrong… so I was happy I was not alone!! More oft than not, I don’t have much luck if the demonstration has no verbal instructions. I usually avoid them. (Written instruction is different. ) I’m going to try again because I want to figure it out.

Hi quick question.. row 6 is the same the whole way round? I kinda get confused when I’m not watching you do it😂 but I can’t just repeat the first two and just do that the whole way around? Thankyou! It’s beautiful btw. So excited to get it done ❤

i love this pattern SO MUCH. i've been slowly making a few of these squares over the last six months or so. one day I'll have enough to put them together for a blanket. it's a great use of when I see a really cool verigated yarn i want to buy but i don't have a specific project in mind for it. but every time i do this pattern i just stop and think about how cool and pretty and clever it is.
