This pattern is perplexing me. I've attempted it twice, and twice now while working on round 6 to make the square border, I ended up with what looks like an extra row, and instead of being a square it's more like a pentagon shape.

i somehow ended up with 54 instead of 48 on row 5😅 got to what was supposed to be the end of 6 and realized it wasn’t working. definitely my fault as i’m very new to crochet, but i don’t know where i went wrong and im going crazy trying to fix it

on the off chance we had the same issue, i realized i was alternating between 1dc and 2dc in row five (instead of repeating 1dc, 1dc, 2dc)!
