You can still do it, but it's not worth it, you will need much more bee mines. Place the boat next to the crab king and place 4+ anchors. If the boat does not move further than 2 tiles, the small crab pokemon will not spawn and the bees will focus on the boss. But for this fight, Maxwell Shadows is much more effective.

do this it wouldn't attacking you instead will walk toward an ancient broken circle ( whatever called that thing putting a key) it's a great method for not hurting your brain because the way he attacking you with cringe spells such as control mind and bone cage and worse of them all is healing 😓 , i don't recommend it this since the requirements Very expensive Unless you really to reset ruin so you can back farm gems ,etc etc

Якщо перший раз проходиш то деякі мої глядачі рекомендують використовувати всі дорогоцінні камені, один камень мало що змінює крім червоного (його не рухати, так як він збільшує шкоду мортирам які починають пробивати діри в кораблі) Я люблю використовуввти зелені але вкрайній ситуації кладу всі геми і докінчую: Синіми якщо граю за героя з великою шкодою або тімейтом, Зеленим бо це саме легше, жовтим бо його легко найти, або фіолетовим якщо маю 2 або більше флейти. This can actually be done with just one Dreadstone pillar. Also, Dreadstone can be duplicated using only construction amulets and Dreadstone walls after being bulldozed by a rook. All in all, you only need 2-3 construction amulets to make the Dreadstone pillar, which is extraordinarily cheap in my opinion. Oh, the reason this works is because Dreadstone walls don't cost pure horror, and you get 3 dreadstones from every use of a construction amulet, for a total of 15 dreadstone per amulet. 40 is all you need, but you may also want more Dreadstone for the gateway repair and for personal dreadstone armors. Hence why 3 construction amulets may be what you want instead of 2. Also, you can do this almost immediately beginning in winter since Deerclops can be spawned using hostile flares. Currently, someone has been able to pull this off on day 23 or 24, I think.

4:18 even if it costs a panflute (possible 3 uses) it's WAY more forgiving than 6 ice staffs and 3 weather pains minimum with almost no healing getting through.

100% now it is much cheaper to prepare for fight and skill tree makes it much easier. Gem tree? Is it a different seed in the box or they all the same just have to grow it meeting both requirements? Having a hard time figuring this out. I have gloomthorn just not the sproutrock

Simplification: Find deep ocean chest, with high chance after day 150 there will be seed. Texture/design of the seeds are all the same. There is 2 types of seed with same design/texture. Each if them have special requirements. One of them grow in swamp during winter, other at rock biom during summer(you can also plant during autumn but it will not produce gems) So lets put you in situations that you find seed. Plant that seed in swamp or rock biom, examine that planted seed to see if you meet requirements. If your 50% failed you, it is time to dug it out and replant to other biom or re-plant to other turf. Example when you plant seed in incorect season, place “Perhaps this is not the right time of year for it to thrive.” -Wickerbottom, examing a Surprising Seed in the wrong season

I dont play wurt, but she is the first locked character im thinking about buying (either with spools or until I cave in and spend money). The amphibian tree feels pretty insignificant compared to the other perks, not that it seems outright bad, could be quite nice early games, just the last thing I would prioritize overall. Mosquito bombs fall in a weird place, as their intended purpose is something that feels like it could be useful, but considering mosquitoes have low health and die after 3 attacks, im kinda on the fence. Bloodshot seems nice as its a decent unspoilable healing source, that I think can heal 150 total (inital heal + overtime), but I think im wrong. Plus the whole thing with getting more mosquitoes than you craft a bomb with to get theoretically infinite mosqutoes for infinite bombs or just sacks for healing, but since the sacks only have a 50% drop chance you could get unlucky and turn negative (unless slaughtering mosquitoes in your inventory gaurentees a sack or the numbers I saw were wrong). The merm king perks feel like a must, buffing your merms is just an outright upgrade, marble armor is an easy make and a thulucite crown is not too hard to make once your in the ruins. The only thing I have a issue in quireing would be the trident, as it needs 3 gnarwhale horns and I personslly hate fighting on the ocean, let alone finding the things, but damage is damage which is always nice. As far as the merm tool stations, the helmet seems the most useful directly as having your warrior merms live longer is always nice, the communal food bowl makes recuitment more convient, and the tool shed, it seems like it has a lot of potentialy for farming resources, but I dont know enough about what the merms can and cant do to rate how truely useful it would be. The cautious perk would just make your merms run like cowards, and who cares about your teamates when your playing CIV with fish people. For affinity im gonna go with lunar, since that the one I see most on boss melting videos. A lot of this is just opinions off of the things ive seen and assume, havnt done any testing personally to get a feel for how all this stuff actually comes to play.

you are not wrong, at start that character is just a pain, but during late game it is the best character with all new skills and minion power. She is not bad and not weak, just have another playstyle which is more complicated and not fun for all.

that character worth trying as it is very different compare to other, you dont need crock pot as there is not that many recipe and some vegetables like potato, tomato and even eggplant are better that most crock pot dish for Wurt with her hunger bonuses. There also bonuses from fish which increase sanity and Wurt can longer have them in inventory. If you think it is useless, you are wrong, Scorching Sunfish and Ice Bream provide heat and cold if you have them, so you can just catch couple of them and use as thermal stone and switch at Tin Fishin' Bin which also restore quality of fish. And you have already plan with skill tree. I recommend using spools to unlock character as it is complicated character and her playstyle very different from others which will be not for everyone

@@2lazyt378 Yeah wurt it's fun and diferent but all that it's just that, if you want to use the merms to chop trees, you will still have to deal with the stumps, and with the cost of the food isn't even viable to get more, and let's not even talk about killing bosses, the battles on wich it's good to use merms, arent even worth it because there are other characters with better metods, and the mayority of her upsides aren't even available until you had passed your first year, (yes im talking to the sunfish wich you can only fish on summer and by thar you surely have other heat sources that also can be placed anywhere) but in resume wurt it's a cool character to play even more after her skill tree but the expenses of having to get food and materials just does't pay up even if you are already at your second year

To cancel healing you must do special amount of damage during short period of time. After update, Orange gems increase that amount of damage requirement, so now they are not that good option exept if you have teammates and you not put more than 3 orange gems. Simplification Do damage to the boss to cancel healing, orange gems increse amount of damage required

@@Tanaelf @Tanaelf sorry for taking so long, that video little outdated. If you have Wormwood Panflute not required. Wormood have skill "Moon Shroom Cloud"(when you eat moon mushrooms wormood will release cloud that put everything to sleep) with that skill you/wormwood will eat 2 mushrooms close to each other's and stand between them tanking crab king. Wendy have ghost which deal higher damage during night. If you try to fight that boss during day, give wendy "Nightshade Nostrum" potion to increase ghost damage With gem combination you can take risk and put 8 purple gems but eat at least 2 mushroom around you. If you still decide to use panflute use only 1 purple gem combination can be like 1 red, 1 blue, 1 purple, 3 green, 1 yellow, 1 orange 1 red, 1 blue, 1 purple, 1 green, 3 yellow, 1 orange 1 red, 3 blue, 1 purple, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 orange 8 green 5 blue and any other but put only 1 of each other It is with last boss update by Jazzy's Games kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5LWdJSEYql6hrMfeature=shared

@@a76329 sorry for taking that long, i get lost in twitch… anyway, if you play with someone or have a good weapon(hambat, darksword, thulici… club) you can use 5 blue gems 1 green 2 yellow You can do same tactics exept ice wall will have more health. If you play as maxwell, it will not be a problem, but still it give some discomfort as not only wall will have more health, but ice arena will disappear faster. It is the cheapest and easiest way to deal with him. As recomendation get alot of patches and repairs or dont use yellow gems, green in that situation will be better.

@@eshku purple gem’s increse small crabs health, amount of them and immunity to sleep. If you use pan flute and purple gems you need to use pan flute 2/3 times more than with any other gems.

@@babafisi8135 orange gems. Which increase crab king healing. If you have alot of boards you can do 2green 3yellow and 3 orange gems. In that situation you must destroy canons with weapon as it will have huge amount of health

Great guide! I think the green gem strat of sailing around killing towers is probably the closest to what Klei intended for players in this fight.

Thank you! For now green gems is the best choice if you are solo. Orange gems perfect if you use Hight damage characters. In multiplayer, gem combinations will simplify pain of searching green gems. Before recording that video I tried Maxwell and Purple gems tactics (i did expect similar result to beequeen, you cage small and focus on boss), for some very interesting reasons Maxwell cage(one of his abilities) does not work on that small crabs, not sure if its a bug or developers have some secrets, but it does not looks right, specially when you are able to cage any living creatures, maybe because you can kill him in less then 60 seconds. I hope for red gems changes as it absolutely nonsense and chance for canons spawn in your boat, which is realy cool mechanics but it wipes boat health in seconds. Response looks like president debate🥲 but im really happy to see huge improvement on ocean content.

@@antynomity I did think the same before i record video about him. Right now he is more enjoyable to fight and you not required to fight only with purple gems, specially if you are solo as there is orange gems which will simplify fight and green gems, but requirements of pan flute kills me
