Great guide! I think the green gem strat of sailing around killing towers is probably the closest to what Klei intended for players in this fight.

Thank you! For now green gems is the best choice if you are solo. Orange gems perfect if you use Hight damage characters. In multiplayer, gem combinations will simplify pain of searching green gems. Before recording that video I tried Maxwell and Purple gems tactics (i did expect similar result to beequeen, you cage small and focus on boss), for some very interesting reasons Maxwell cage(one of his abilities) does not work on that small crabs, not sure if its a bug or developers have some secrets, but it does not looks right, specially when you are able to cage any living creatures, maybe because you can kill him in less then 60 seconds. I hope for red gems changes as it absolutely nonsense and chance for canons spawn in your boat, which is realy cool mechanics but it wipes boat health in seconds. Response looks like president debate🥲 but im really happy to see huge improvement on ocean content.

@@dashamoony Там "не важко" але битва може затягнутися. Якщо перший раз проходиш то деякі мої глядачі рекомендують використовувати всі дорогоцінні камені, один камень мало що змінює крім червоного (його не рухати, так як він збільшує шкоду мортирам які починають пробивати діри в кораблі) Я люблю використовуввти зелені але вкрайній ситуації кладу всі геми і докінчую: Синіми якщо граю за героя з великою шкодою або тімейтом, Зеленим бо це саме легше, жовтим бо його легко найти, або фіолетовим якщо маю 2 або більше флейти. @@eshku purple gem’s increse small crabs health, amount of them and immunity to sleep. If you use pan flute and purple gems you need to use pan flute 2/3 times more than with any other gems.

@@a76329 sorry for taking that long, i get lost in twitch… anyway, if you play with someone or have a good weapon(hambat, darksword, thulici… club) you can use 5 blue gems 1 green 2 yellow You can do same tactics exept ice wall will have more health. If you play as maxwell, it will not be a problem, but still it give some discomfort as not only wall will have more health, but ice arena will disappear faster. It is the cheapest and easiest way to deal with him. As recomendation get alot of patches and repairs or dont use yellow gems, green in that situation will be better.

Wormood have skill "Moon Shroom Cloud"(when you eat moon mushrooms wormood will release cloud that put everything to sleep) with that skill you/wormwood will eat 2 mushrooms close to each other's and stand between them tanking crab king. Wendy have ghost which deal higher damage during night. If you try to fight that boss during day, give wendy "Nightshade Nostrum" potion to increase ghost damage With gem combination you can take risk and put 8 purple gems but eat at least 2 mushroom around you. If you still decide to use panflute use only 1 purple gem combination can be like 1 red, 1 blue, 1 purple, 3 green, 1 yellow, 1 orange 1 red, 1 blue, 1 purple, 1 green, 3 yellow, 1 orange 1 red, 3 blue, 1 purple, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 orange 8 green 5 blue and any other but put only 1 of each other It is with last boss update by Jazzy's Games kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5LWdJSEYql6hrMfeature=shared

They are not effective anymore.

You can still do it, but it's not worth it, you will need much more bee mines. Place the boat next to the crab king and place 4+ anchors. If the boat does not move further than 2 tiles, the small crab pokemon will not spawn and the bees will focus on the boss. But for this fight, Maxwell Shadows is much more effective.

How do you cancel the healing?

To cancel healing you must do special amount of damage during short period of time. After update, Orange gems increase that amount of damage requirement, so now they are not that good option exept if you have teammates and you not put more than 3 orange gems. Simplification Do damage to the boss to cancel healing, orange gems increse amount of damage required
