I feel like no one mentions as much as respect the dead We literally walk over a lot of human corpses every day and animal corpses plus those corpse are already decomposed and stuff like I get it but at the same time it’s technically more disrespectful to nature to put bodies in wood so it takes a long time for it to literally make the soil around it better (Also I feel like someone going to say what if this is me I mean it’s ok if it animals but it’s wrong if it humans let’s use that analogy to solve it)

Just goes to show how fleeting life is, that in 100 years your grave could be a parking lot.

I don't think the people 'living' there should mind, though of course I'm not sure. Maybe they asked politely but got no answer so they assumed they had the green light? At least the neighbors are quiet, that's a plus 👌

That is sick and discussing. Talk about disrespect for the dead. Whoever did this to a graveyard should be prosecuted for vandalizing a graveyard. The city should be made to pay to have the strip mall and parking lot cleared, and the graves moved if they want to use that land.

Systematic and pervasive racism was part of our past and continues with very few consequences. 😔
@princessaz7912 күн бұрын
Racism will be around as long as people keep talking about it. Cemeteries are owned by people and if no one could pay for it to keep it up then something had to happen. It’s very sad.

@@princessaz79 Uh. So stop talking about problems in society and they just magically disappear? Your comment is laughable.
@princessaz7912 күн бұрын
@@gplus1000 there will always be racism. But when people keep talking about it and not doing anything else it’s not helping anything. We need action not comments.
@errolvanzie476512 күн бұрын
@@princessaz79actually we need action with comments. There is a physical aspect and a theoretical aspect. Both need to be implemented in order to achieve sustainable change❤

Just as most tombs have doors and windows. You must've done some research coming up with this. ?
@brigidtheirish15 күн бұрын
Not comparable because tombs generally have a space for *living* people to enter for visiting the dead. *That's* the part with doors and windows. *Graves* don't have these. Little Meritt's grave is unusual.
