Amazing video Pete! Thanks for sharing! I was very impressed with your short videos and especially the previous long video for this project. I'll be looking forward to your next videos where you talk and explain so exciting about the creation process and how an artist creates such amazing computer environment in your game industry! Greetings and good luck!

Выглядит круто! И вставки из игры очень хорошо зашли. Большой плюс за оформление и всякие мелочи по типу разделителей, таймкодов и описания.

lol this is interesting in the way I can see the Wow towers have been inspired by Orthodox Christian Architecture with fantasy elements american style and your are recreating the wow stylised tower when you could probably come up with a better Orthodox Christian Architecture inspired fantasy tower yourself. But i'm loving watching you work. :D

Your accent is very peculiar, what is your native language? Pretty tower btw, like it
@PeteDimitrovАй бұрын
I'm British-Bulgarian and my accent reflects that in ways, I imagine. Though, I wouldn't be able to tell the ratio. Thank you, I am glad that you like the tower so far! It will undergo more work and improvements.

@@PeteDimitrov thank you for your answer! I'm sure that you can make this tower even better and more refined. If you upload something more on WoW thematics i'll watch it immediatly!

this is awesome thanks for posting with the prop breakdown too - youve inspired me with some cool ideas to try out in my current project which I'm very excited to get busy with. I like how well you pulled the scene together with just the one blue accent color it works great

PeterDimitrovArt, do you have a VR/3D file that I can use/see on my Oculus Quest / Oculus Rift S headset ? Or even this video, but in 360 degrees ? That would make me very, very happy. Thanks in advance. Greetings from the CyberPunkForums

Amazingly talented, love the cyber-noir mixed with darkness. It's very much like the Geistian realm of Egregore where the souls of dead dead computery things come to rest...yeeesss!! Would love to present my show from the grave desk and have a digital walk through the Quantum Cathedral..Based in the same city as you too funnily enough.

Can you explain how you can get into making things like this to somebody like myself who has zero knowledge of how this is done? I think it would be really therapeutic for me to spend some of my time working on creating something like this with a 3D environment.

I was asked this a few times over at Reddit, so I will just copy what I replied to someone over there: If you are curious specifically about parts of the creation of this, you can read my blog about its making over at www.bit.ly/pdJapan Everything is put together in Unreal Engine. You could start off by watching the official Masterclasses(kzbin.infoplaylists) and Introductory videos over at Epics. To make it look like this, you need good Models, which I personally create in Autodesk Maya. Look into some basics for that. There is Autodesk 3Ds Max, but in my opinion, Maya is more beginner friendly. Models need texturing. My pipeline uses Allegorithmic Substance Designer and Substance Painter at their maximum. Amazing software, you can look into the Introduction videos over at their channel. They have a guy with such a chill voice explaining stuff, I just love him. Designer(kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnianWCvrZ6sj7s), Painter(kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5zCioWhedh9qLM). Make sure you understand basics of PBR(kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5-taYGggbeggs0) too. Going through their whole channel really is useful(kzbin.infovideos). At some point you will have to spend a lot of time looking into Lighting. That is when you've covered basics in Unreal. One of my favorite guides is this Playlist(kzbin.info/www/bejne/naOxZoyaapqIf68). That guy is awesome. For technical the following is very useful, its again a masterclass(kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5nKZaifp7KWm8U). I could go on and on, but I probably wont be able to cover everything. Also, I can be of much more help, if you were to have a specific questions and gaps in knowledge. So check out the stuff I've linked, and in the future, if you need guiding towards specific resources given that you know what you are lacking, just drop me an DM. Hope this helps.
