I saw some of your comments on the red one of these that sold on BAT, and found this one that you sold last year. WOW!!!! You did an amazing job restoring this car to brand new condition! Just amazing!!!!!!! A friend of mine's father imported a new one of these from Europe in either 1985 or 86, when I was a junior in high school. We got to occasionally take it out, and it was so impressive! It was faster, and handled better than anything I had ridden in or driven at that point in life. This one brings me back to the good ole days (the 1980's)!!! His was either dark grey or black, and had leather Recaro seats. I LOVE the car!!! The exhaust is amazing!!! There's just no way I would have been able to bring myself to sell it after doing all of the work you did on thins one! I just wanted to complement you on the quality of work you did! (Liked and subscribed)

Thank-you. I stripped the OEM black paint \ coating off the radiator knowing the end tanks were brass and then proceeded to polish the tanks. It was a fair bit of work, but came out great.

@@slownrusty ok cheers, yeah was looking as mine and my tanks are brass on top but also look like they go silver closer to the core just before they are soldered together.

Thanks for the video. Question, did the spoiler original have arms holding it or did the belly pan help stabilize it? I had the front spoiler on my car 10 years ago but don’t remember having support arms. I sold mine and now wish I didn’t because the prices are just insane to buy used or new.

I had a red, fully loaded 88 GTX. Loved that car. Unfortunately it started life in the North and when the underside rotted I had to dump it. I hope it’s still out there somewhere.

Thanks for the video. This is the same part as on my 944. Maybe this is a simple question, but how does the cable come out of the support piece? Does it just unsnap or is it glued in place or something? Also, if I wanted to replace the lever is there a pin to remove to release the end of the cable? Thanks.
