I just started saddle hunting & went right into one sticking & I will admit there is a learning curve just like anything else but, it really isn't that hard at all & I personally enjoy the rappelling aspect to it much more than multi sticks. that being said i will use multiple sticks if I am doing some Pre-Sets on my Hunting Lease, so there are definitely benefits to both ways but, one sticking is really not that difficult as long as you have the right equipment. P.S. I'm 6' 250lbs. so I'm not in the best shape either, Food for Thought...

I tend to hunt game trails and dry rivers. Not water as our african animals are super nervous around water. I also do compromise on height but if wind is good it still works. Sometimes you just have to use a thorn tree. I am not concerned about predators when hanging - its the mambas that scare the sh.. out of me.
