Thank you so much! I hadn't had this all explained, either. I had the surgery keep feeling just over 3 weeks ago, all on 4 for the bottom. I was healing well & when I went in for my 14 day post op, a screw was tightened way too tight. I went back 3 days ago, and don't think it was tightened badly, but all my center teeth (still a temporary, of course) feel like they've been lassoed tightly. Also, the bottom right half of my chin feels numb still. Is there a blog you know of to discuss these things with others? You did an excellent job on the video! Thank you so much!

Awesome patient education! Can you please recommend a toothpaste?
@MyNewSmileDental2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! We really recommend that while you're in your temporary set of teeth, you should use a homemade toothpaste (mixture of Baking Soda + Water). After you recieve your final set of Zirconia teeth, you're free to use whichever toothpaste you prefer! 😁

Thank you I got my implants in march 2024 and did not get very good instructions on after care. For example I was never told I should brush 4 post implant , I kept my bottom teeth and not anything was said on preserving them. 🤷🏽♀️

There is no good reason she could not name the city where she got the work done. Also name the complications she had in 2 minutes, she is articulate & clearly speaks good english. Leaving key problems out is SUSPECT of a PR testimonial.

Many of my American friends had their dental treatments done in Mexico (some in Colombia), and they are happy with the results. Being a European, I rather chose Thailand for a full dental makeover during our last winter holiday there, and I couldn't have made a better choice. Their technology is state-of-the-art, prices are just a fraction of those back home, doctors and medical staff are super attentive and quality-centered. Thailand has gained my trust in medical services and I even have my eye surgery already scheduled for next January there.

A dry or wet teabag?

Good question! A wet teabag lightly pressed onto the area for 15 minutes should do the trick. Thanks for clarifying!

It's sad it's so expensive in the US so many people have to go to Mexico
@MyNewSmileDental2 ай бұрын
And let me make this clear: Going to Mexico for implants is completely fine! There are great clinicians in Mexico that will give you a fantastic outcome. But because their standards aren't as strenuous as the US, almost anyone (literally, anyone) is allowed to place an implant. So it comes down to doing thorough research and finding someone that you can trust.

Hello really liked they way you explain things very clearly great video ..I just had 10 implants done in turkey I’ve paid 70% up front to them with the remainder to be paid when I get my bridges fitted …they don’t offer a lot of after care hence why I’m here listening to you that bridge you are displaying is that the industry standard bridge or the cleansable type the reason I ask is the standard type I’ve been told are impossible to clean because food gets trapped because it’s concave ……the latter is convex which if I’m correct curves outwards so it’s a lot easier to keep clean ..I asked my dentist about this and she said their patients prefer the concave type because it covers their gums better ,but I argued with her that surely convex should be preferred because better to keep clean ..I also asked them about bone petruding out of my lower gums which they didn’t want to give me an answer ..but I just heard you saying this is common thank you …🙏
@MyNewSmileDental3 ай бұрын
Hey Frankie - glad to hear you got the procedure done! Happy healing to you 🙏 But yes - we prefer a slightly Convex Intaglio (top part of the bridge, or the part that touches the gums) due to the exact reason you explained: it's easier to blast out debris. However, if you follow the tips we're giving here like Waterpiking from the front AND the back using the Implant Denture tip, the results should be similar. And yes, small spicules of bone coming through the healing tissue is normal - no worries about that. Please keep us in the loop on your recovery!

@@MyNewSmileDental hey thank so much for the time you took to reply back to me that was the quickest reply I’ve ever had lol….yes a professor on you tube showed the convex type removed from his patient after a year omg it was gross food was trapped in the curve the professor explained that the patient was cleaning his bridge correctly and wasn’t his fault it was just impossible to clean I mean how can you fully clean a dip lol..love watching your very well explained videos hope to watch more I just subscribed to your channel thank you again 👍👍

I see how it could appear that way without taking a deeper look, but every tooth was mobile due to extreme lack of bone - hence, Zygos being the treatment. If you're interested, take a deeper look at the case on Instagram: instagram.com/p/CzZIYzRpiy0/?img_index=6

Im just getting started butnthis isnmy goal. The light at the end of the tunnel. I had my teeth extracted last week and im miserable, i hate my dentures. I can not wait to get my implants put in and have all this plastic cut off and snap them in. I already paid for my permanent dentures that i don't have yet, im paid up until my posts go in. 6 minths of torture? Looks like it right now. I feel like i have a mouth full of legos. I cant eat with these AT ALL and they hurt. And then the part where i look like a mouse because my top lip is humped outward now. Its horrendous... I hate the plastic, i hate the palate part, i gag, i really hate everything about this except i fo look better than i did when i looked like a pirate. I pretty much guarantee i will require eventually getting an upgrade once i have the 8 implants and they all heal, i want teeth that feel hard and sharp, and without all the plastic gums and roof of the mouth part. It looks amazing on you, and i bet youre way more comfortable than with all that acrylic. Hopefully in a year or two i will have myself a zirconia set like yours... God bless...

What a beautiful story, it’s life changing to give someone their smile back, there’s so many ppl that pray for this to happen for them. Ppl that haven’t experienced not being able to smile, being in pain all the time and not having any resources or no one to help them is very depressing and a feeling of doom. I’m so happy for him, his life will have meaning again.
