What is the difference between dentures, overdentures, and fixed?
- Dentures cover the roof of your mouth and require adhesive to stay in place. They must be removed to clean.
- Overdentures or Snap Ins stay in place with the help of dental implants - no more adhesive! However, they are still bulky and might move around. Must be snapped in/out to clean underneath.
- Fixed (All on 4) are the closest option to natural teeth. They require the least amount of material (least bulky) and are only removed by the dentist. They stay in place, and can easily be cleaned underneath with a Waterpik Water Flosser.
