I understand how to identify figurative language/ literary devices, but what do you write in the margins? I want to write in my books, but I don’t know what to write.

after watching this video, I really took away the methods that I can apply when teaching and planning a lesson for my future foreign language class. I am currently a senior at a state University and I want to be an Italian teacher. This video really gave me some ideas and helped me grasp the work that it takes to fully plan a lesson. Thank you for sharing this methodology and your planning process. 😀

☕What I really enjoy and appreciate is how hard this educator works,her love for what she does professionally, encouraging reading and thinking critically all with a smile and lots of coffee and Diet Coke. Her students are fortunate and so are her sweet, respectful and kind children.❤❤❤

I don't know whether you like Trump or not but let me ask you a few things. Do you like a secure border? Do you like not having people ushered into our country to murder your children? Do you like a great economy? Do you like world peace? Do you like the police being able to do their jobs? Do you like your daughters not losing medals to mediocre men pretending to be women and do you like them safe in their locker rooms and restrooms without fake men in there? If you answered yes to even one of these questions you need to vote for Trump!

I was in a 1st grade class when I got a phone call from the school that my kid passed out and was at the nurse's. I was so worried. And I straight up told the class what was going on and to be kind to me because I was "really nervous" about my kid. They were so well-behaved that day. I don't think teachers should overshare, but I think informing your students that you are having a bad day will work wonders. A lot of kids are empathic and will chastise the kids that aren't.

This question, but for people who finished high school and know what is necessary. It kinda makes more sense than asking high school kids what is useful in life after high school.. they haven't been there yet, how are they suppoused to know, they're just guessing 😂

True but I will say when I was that age I’d heard enough other people complaining about what other people didn’t learn, as well as knowing some things I didn’t know how to do. You’re still correct, however the point of asking a group for ideas is that everyone will have a different answer and sometimes those gaps between what Johnny knows and what Mary knows could give someone else an idea 💡 It’s not perfect but lemme tell ya… they didn’t do this shit when I was in HS and I WISH a teacher had taken the time out to teach us basic stuff. I sure as hell didn’t get the type of parents that would teach it to me. The answers I got was “it’s not that hard, just common sense”.

Princess Marie, 2 things. 1. You look good in your outfit. 2. Way to go with the Life Skills Lesson and getting the students thinking about what matters in their lives because that kind of teaching and those kind of lessons is what is missing in the school systems today. - Dwight

It's interesting that none of them are about being good people,friends,neighbours & how to be social/politically aware & informed. It's almost like they need to be so focused on meeting their basic needs that they just don't have space for anything else - intentional maybe?
@djthereplay2 ай бұрын
I get where you are coming from. However, we are living in a time here in America when being good people in itself has become something that has to be fought for because of a number of politicians or a number of wannabe politicians who want people to give to them and once they gain that power given to them by the people those same politicians act like they don't want to give anything back and they snap at people and bully people and shed money from people to spend that money only on what they want and try to justify it as serving the people or doing it for the good of the country or bringing people to God. To me, The Greedy Politicians in this country need to learn to give of themselves to meet people's needs and not be greedy to people and cover up that greed with the morality and patriotism cloth.
