@@justingarthwaite4237 yup it is a shotgun! I didn’t show it in this video but the shells can be loaded with shot! Now, I upgraded the gun with a rifled barrel but.. it can still be swapped with a smooth barrel.

@@irish-simon ya it got that way after taking it on and off the gun a million times. I made a new breech and it looks like it was made on a CNC.

I can tell you it’s getting 800fps with 125g slugs. I will be doing a chronograph vid once the gun is finished! I made a new breech and am also installing a 2 stage trigger etc…

mine worked great for 9 prints and then on one the bed stopped moving mid print and i got a glob of death and they dont want to replace the printer now . still emailing them

I understand how your ejector works, but did I miss seeing the extractor design? I’m trying to figure out how they’re extracting from the chamber or is it just a standard extractor/rim(less) design?

Yes there is an extractor on the end of the bolt and the shell has an internal rim. In this video, the extractor was fixed so it didn’t move over the rim if the shell was pushed into the chamber before the bolt was closed. I have since upgraded it so it pivots with a pin and spring now it works perfectly! I am working on the upgraded video which will show some of the machining process and will also show all of the upgraded parts. Please subscribe so you don’t miss it! You will want to see it! Here was my case ejecting big-bore from a while ago. The advantage I saw for casings was to allow feed systems like magazines (or belts) that could handle any shape and length of projectile. The disadvantage is accuracy is not as good when the bullet jumps into the rifling. Its very interesting but why do you need those cartridges for pcp air rifle? I mean what is the point of that, since cartridges will probably expend after fairing and cause more issues.

@@nikolajovanovic7419 it uses the shell so you can preload them with shot. Plus, I think it could be more accurate when using slugs since you can preload them and they will shoot more consistently. I ended up 3-D printing some with my new QIDI Plus 4 printer so now it is a pretty efficient design. And yes, I fixed the ejecting issue!

This is some of the best custom work I've ever seen and I really ought to talk to you about funding some future prototypes and maybe getting something built for myself once you are satisfied with whatever you are working on. @@kudalauthebat I designed it to use shells so it can shoot different types of “shot” just like a real shotgun. Another benefit is that the gun can be unloaded unlike traditional pcp air rifles. I also believe that with the correct equipment the shells could be loaded and fired more accurately than just sticking them right into the barrel.

Изделие конечно, страшный сон инженера-конструктора.) Что же так свою работу не любить? Совет, поменяй материал затвора/досылателя. У тебя же там трение большое и износ сумасшедший, от того и клинит. Смени бобышку взвода с цилиндра на прямоугольник. Цилиндр по цилиндру расклинивает и у тебя опять же заедает. Лучше вообще прямоугольник по прямоугольнику сделать. Да и если уж сделал "гильзы", делал бы сразу изделие на эиркартриджах. Трудоёмкость немного выше, зато куча плюсов.
