I dont know what you can access. Polyaquol 2W has ph range 3-9 so tolerate acidic range. Otherwise you can do your own research

Hi, I would like to incorporate Azelaic acid into a body butter emulsion. Which is a low pH tolerant emulsifier?

Hi, thanks for sharing this formula; there is only one thing that I can not understand. if you want to raise the ph to 5.5, what is the point of 15 percent vitamin c? As far as I know, we use vitamin c to get the benefits of acidic properties to remove dead skin and force our skin to make a new layer.
@ziverorganiques22 күн бұрын
sounds like you're confusing vitamin C (ascorbic acid) with hydroxy acid ( AHA/BHA - glycolic, lactic, salicyclic). Those are the one's that needs to be in acidic range (ph3-4) and those are the ones helps exfoliate dead skin and make a new layer. Vitamin C is all about brightening and energising dull skin

I agree, leave the snails alone. I don’t see the need to stress them out to extract their protective mucus. Thanks Tuna for this information ❤

Ooo... something I've been wondering about is differences between different types of humectants. For example, there are the 3 categories of moisturizers-- humectant, emollient, occlusive-- but what are then how do those categories breakdown? Basically, my problems is that my too much gene gets way too triggered when it comes to skincare, and I want to use ALL of the humectants and ALL of the antioxidants and ALL of the fatty acids, but I know that doesn't make my skincare more effective.
@ziverorganiques19 күн бұрын
Actually those three are not moisturisers. Humectant means draws moisture from the air. Emollients are oil based prevent water loss and occlusive means “barrier forming” you can use all of them but the order is from thin to thicker in another words water to oil so first something purely water or gel then a cream (water and oil) then just oil like a balm or oil serum. Hope that makes sense!

I pretty much agree with you. Snail mucin doesn't even have that much evidence behind it, and there are more proven, more sustainable, and cruelty free options for the beauty consumer. I'm fine with sacraficing snail for legitimate medical issues like eczema or wound dressing, but for fine line and wrinkles, it's just not effective enough.

Well said, you are awesome... I actually came to the same conclusion after our conversation... rule of thumb is companies are never fully transparent, kinda like I'll show my right hand so you don't pay any attention to what the left one is doing

Thank you. Yes unless there is demand from consumers, they won't act on it.

I agree with the enviromental impact of these new " fads". The same happened here in Europe with essetial oil that people buy like crazy in the hope to make their own concoctions and end up throwing everything because many don't have time to make their own cosmetics on the long run . I have decided to buy exclusively from very selective brands although a bit more expensive. I want to see some label related to the respect of the environment. I'm new here and subscribing. Excellent content ! Thank You ❤
