I agree that no one should make fun of anyone's way of speaking. Period. With that said, an Indian accent can be very difficult to understand to many American English speakers. Is the solution for Indians to adapt to an American accent? No, that shouldn't be an expectation or requirement. But at the same time, they can't expect Americans to understand them if they don't. Many Americans get frustrated or angry when they call customer service and can't understand the rep, or take a college course and can't understand the teacher, due to an unfamiliar accent. If the goal is to talk to other Indians, no problem, but if the goal is to communicate with Americans, there will be a barrier. It's not an issue of right and wrong, but whether or not communication will be effective.

The fold isn't abusive at all, it's a medical position used to make sure the bunny/rabbit is completely supported, while not the comfortablest it's definitely not harmful to them as long as you don't hold it like this for hours on end. Some rabbits quite literally refuse to be held any other way, it's a natural position and you can even find them trying to replicate this position in nature. Please do your research before calling such a thing "abusive".
