Hey ! Thanks for the vid. Any recommendations for forged wheels that are painted? I’ve got severe brake dust rust buildup that somehow hardened. I’m afraid if I use the metal brush it’ll strip the paint.

I have been thinking about buying a 200 series diesel. A couple of videos on youtube of people spending 10 to 20 grant in the first year in repair costa made me kind of insecure. could u give more information about running costs, repair costs, typical problems...thx so much for your content! Best from Berlin

I mean It's just me - and I obviously don't have that kinda money - but i can't see myself driving something that says "Someone's Company Built". Again, I'm on a different spectrum #poor. Do all the work myself on my LC. Great content regardless
@CruisingTheLand10 күн бұрын
Who is to say a company built this? Rear bumper instslled myself, or are you sayung build the bumper by myself? Sometimes someome else's trial and error to perfect is worth buying, vs trying yourself. Besides after buying materials, powder coating, hinges, bearings, would I save a grand? And spend hours, where as I can spend that time on my own trade and skillest making more than the cost of paying a company to make thr dual swing outs to perfection? I agree somethings are worth doing yourself, but not everything. Thats how barter came to be. Just now, we do it with money.

Fascinating seeing all the FLEX/Renoca stuff in the US now after keeping an eye on them in Japan for a long time. Not a fan of the converted front end 100s but the paint/interiors/wheels etc are all cool. Curious if these are getting painted in the US because the Japanese trucks always had paint issues. Extremely limited amount of talented painters in Japan it seems, from the JDM resprays I've seen as well as importers I know.

My bone stock 1958 I get 25 when it is windy. 26.6-27 mpg highway with stock tires which are smaller than the other two tiers. Last weekend driving it 80-90 mph to Detroit on freeway I was getting 21-22. I had a 2016 4Runner with 200k… had a 3/2” lift with 33” tires and absolutely killed the mpg 15.7 mpg best. Also depending on situation yes my LC250 runs on the hybrid system. Also I have 20k miles on my LC and already and overall using 93 octane I am getting right about 24 mpg. I do a lot of highway and freeway driving for work.
@CruisingTheLand12 күн бұрын
Umm, Last I checked... at 80mph, when I stick my hwad out the window... its always windy.
@peterfurman399112 күн бұрын
lol. Touché. Northern Michigan has had some 30mph winds this week and have got 24.8-25.5 driving 65 ish with some brutal winds.
@CruisingTheLand12 күн бұрын
True.. JK! A head wind vs tail wind makes a big difference. Thats why flying west to east is always quicker!

I have 33s, they are BFG K03 and get 14.8mpg. 😢. Still live it tho
@CruisingTheLand12 күн бұрын
Smiles per miles. So if you add a RTT or have 35s, youd be at 12-13mpg.. My 200 series gets 10mpg city, but its a V8 that will outlast the 4cyl IMO and no expensive depleting battery to replace.
