Ive seen mod that u take dlss4 file from cyberpunk and add it to any game through the files.i downloaded all the tools but not had time to try.

If you set DLSS Latest from NVIDIA APP, it will be Preset K.

I was fortunate I didn’t have to download and install DLSS swapper or profile inspector. All I did was uninstall the Nvidia app and reinstall and set the pre-set model to latest, which is K and did the install of the registry and it shows up in my Microsoft flight simulator 2020 preset k. now I just have to figure out what graphic settings I want to use in the DLSS. Quality performance or ultra performance, and you can still use the open XR tool kit with override resolution off.

Had to roll back to old driver due to occasionally extremely high CPU loads that killed framerate and made plane unflyable. When this happened, I could see ALL cores at very high usage using vpsVR overlay in game. Video was a slide show. But big thanks for showing how to do this without the bugged Nvidia app. Preset K with 310.2.1 worked great with my 3090 and Valve Index at first. It was hard to get out of VR and see what process was going nuts when this happened but it appeared to be the game itself looking at Task Manager. I rolled back the Nvidia driver and it does not look as nice, but it is stable. I would love to go back to DLSS4 if I can stop the CPU problem.

Q: Are you sure you should/can Enable "DLSS-FG override" etc setting even if one has a 30 or 20 series Nvidia card? Q: How will I know what settings to change in Profile Inspector in the future when there is a new driver, and will this procedure work for both sims?

i have msfs 2020. I update to K profile. Nvidia Filters do not work anymore. I reinstall the nvidia app. Nothing. Is there any work around to fix this?

The nVidia app is totally giving me the shits. I have installed the newest DLSS via DLSS swapper, but I cannot access the presets because the nVidia app has it greyed out. If this works I will kiss you sir.

Una consulta, tengo Quest 3 y siempre usé TAA, con el nuevo DLSS 4 preset K en DLAA mejora la nitidez de todo menos de las pantallas (no es tan mala como tiempo atrás pero con TAA se ve mejor). En tu experiencia hay algún preset o configuración que mejore la nitidez de los instrumentos al menos al nivel del TAA? Gracias de antemano

weird i dont have the override SR option.... 4090 and latest drivers EDIT=== saw in avsim forum, remove the customsettingnames from the folder, and override sr will be there.

you just swap the dll files over for the games if the driver is overriding presets now

I decided to take a different path to getting DLSS 4 enabled in 2020 and 2024 and would appreciate your thoughts on my approach. 1. Install latest driver 572.16 2. Using DLSS Swapper set DLSS for the game to v310.2.1 3. Use DLSS Tweaks to set Preset to K for all DLSS settings (Ultra Qual, Qual, etc...) 4. Use DLSS Tweaks to set the DLSS Render Values (ie UQ 0.90, Qual 0.80 etc..) I prefer this method as a newer version of DLSS can be released before a new version of the GPU driver is released. Ever since I upgraded to the latest Nvidia graphics drivers, Nvidia Profile Inspector crashes about 5 seconds after launching it.

I have tried all kinds of methods and finally arrived at this one. It actually works and is versatile! Thank you so much.

EDIT: As may be useful for others. Having had the issue below, I loaded another game that uses DLSS, Enshrouded in this case, then loading MSFS2024 again and it loaded profile K, so all good :) Hmmm I am still getting render preset E, any ideas? Did exactly as said. In fact I tested on Enshrouded and that does load the K profile, so its something to do with MSFS2024?

How does this affect 30 series cards?

I don’t have that NGXCore registry key in my regedit. Am I missing some nvidia program or something? I’m very comfortable using the registry but I don’t see it

Man the Nvidia app is so shit. Sometimes it doesnt detect games. Sometimes when I close the app it remains on the screen for a bit. Crazy how this is from a trillion dollar company. I will try your method. Thanks.

Good video! After all of this is done, I don't see "render preset K" at the bottom. It does show the right dlss 4 version. How do I know if I'm using "K" ,or "J"?
