DLSS 4 without the Nvidia App tutorial. Preset K in MSFS 2024/ 2020

WOW! .. finally can fly VR in MSFS24.G3000 Displays are not blurry anymore! BUT..... Iam on Profile K Out of the Box without any changes in Nvidia App or NInspector on the 4070 Super. Confirmed with dlss indicator. Now i will test it on my old Rig (2070 Super). Scenery and Ground Textures are so sharp now. My Best VR Experience on my old ReverbG2 so far :)

You're using MSFS 2020. That is not the problem. You don't even have 2024 installed.

I don’t have that NGXCore registry key in my regedit. Am I missing some nvidia program or something? I’m very comfortable using the registry but I don’t see it

Good video! After all of this is done, I don't see "render preset K" at the bottom. It does show the right dlss 4 version. How do I know if I'm using "K" ,or "J"?

It does show up for me in DCS using HP Reverb G2. It's kind of hard to see being at the very low left corner of the view, but it definitely is there.

Interesting. Ive downloaded the newest nvidia app but on the FS2020 all the DLSS overwrite says Unsupported. Is there another way to get them activated? I have no swapper installed or anything. Rtx 4090

First, forget about the Nvidia App. Uninstall it. Then follow the steps in this video. Be sure you place the dll files (3 nvngx files) into the msfs2020 .exe folder. Then use Nvidia profile inspector. Also be sure you downloaded the latest firmware.

@@Dregaz96 To show DLSS version in game: Open registry go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NGXCore create a new DWORD Value with name “ShowDlssIndicator” Set Value to Decimal 1024 To disable it just set it to 0 again.

Hay una aplicación para cambiarlo automáticamente llamada dlss updater; mucho mejor que hacerlo con dlss swapper; aunque puedes usar esta ultima para verificar que se han actualizado todos los juegos. Escoges la carpeta donde tienes todos tus juegos y lo hace en lote para cada uno y cambia la dll de ray reconstrucion, frame generation y super resolution; solo cambia la que necesite dicho juego porque en algunos no hay dlss o solo dlss super resolution. . La aplicación lo divide por juegos de diferentes plataformas, pero puedes escoger la carpeta que quieras , que la escanea igualmente. La aplicación es bueno verificar que descargas la ultima actualizion para porder actualizar a la ultima versión de dlss que es la 310.2.1

@@LegendKiller-org registry edit is just to check if you are actually using the preset K. You can go back to Nvidia default settings pressing the nvidia logo button (Nvidia profile inspector). You are not editing anything but nvidia driver options.

@@learjet55c well.. that's weird. Be sure you are using vsync and the refresh rate is the native. You should be able to use Frame Generation.
