As much as I like this tutorial it is hard to follow... sometimes you totally don't mention what you are doing, video speeeds up and there is no mention that you create another layer what do you do with it etc. So a little struggle as for tutorial.

Not sure you're still reading this on an older video but i'm wondering if you used the default 300dpi with 1000x1000 pixels incase you need to print it perhaps? Or do you use 72 or 150?

It depends on your personal preference if you plan on printing your illustration I recommend 300dpi and increase the art board size but if it will live social media or as a profile picture. I would recommend 150dpi

The only thing that's confusing is that I'm able to do any lighting on the black color of my shirt. & I checked all the layers but still don't know what I'm doing wrong. Some1 please help. Thanks !!

@@Deelo23 this effect doesn’t work on pure black. Try changing the color of the shirt or you can apply the color you want as a highlight but revert the blend mode to normal

It’s a personal preference I’ve developed over time. The overlay blend mode intensifies colors when applied with white. While it doesn’t work in every situation, it does most of the time. As you get more familiar with the interface and tools, developing these skills and techniques becomes easier. I’m glad this video has been valuable to your growth, and I truly appreciate your support.

It’s totally up to you. For best practice you should use a grouping system but it all depends on your personal work flow.
