I'm a furniture flipper myself. I watch others for inspiration, but most of the time I'm working right along side you/ them. Talking in your videos would help me a lot because if you're doing some thing unique I can stop and watch what you've done. But only if i hear you talk about what you've done. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this was.

I've just now found your channel. You have really pulled off a great transformation here! I really like the results of your vision on this piece. I will look forward to watching you at work in more inspiring videos.

Hi, Shane. That turned out really pretty. We would really like to hear you talk to us and explain your plans and then talk us through the steps. That’s the way it’s most entertaining for us to watch. Maybe try it? We hope you do.

Wait for the painted wood haters to start commenting 🙄. Love it, looks much better. Only thing for me being very fussy is that I would've painted the underneath too. Yes, I know it's extreme but it's just me, I like to finish things off.

We have never seen that technique using the tool to create a wood grain in the paint! That was very interesting and it looks realistic. The whole piece looks great!

It would have been more helpful if you would have let us know what products you were using to achieve the look.

Sometimes painting is necessary for refinishing, it turned out incredible here! How did you get the finish so smooth?

What color paint are you using and what type of roller ...came out beautiful
@shaneworks Жыл бұрын
I use the linen white rustoleum, and the Bennet micro pro smooth surface make sure to sand it in between coats, 220 or finer grits preferably 😀

What paint did you use on the handles?
@shaneworks Жыл бұрын
I just cleaned it, I let it soak with water, vinegar and baking soda for 30 mins and scrubbed it with steel wool

Very nice job! May I ask what type of roller you used for the primer and paint? Foam or one with a nap? Your product went on so smoothly and the finish looked great.
@shaneworks Жыл бұрын
I use the Bennet micro Fibre plus, 4 inch roller for smooth surfaces, and I hand sand it after each coats to make it look flat and smooth with 220 grit
