We have never seen that technique using the tool to create a wood grain in the paint! That was very interesting and it looks realistic. The whole piece looks great!

Wait for the painted wood haters to start commenting 🙄. Love it, looks much better. Only thing for me being very fussy is that I would've painted the underneath too. Yes, I know it's extreme but it's just me, I like to finish things off.
