Big chart hit! Couldn't happen now, everyone thinks Adele is better, LOL! Somewhere along the way taste REALLY went downhill.

This is a glorious quit a shit job moment and should be more celebrated. Sign up to be in a punk band and end up playing to Princess Fucking Anne.

Wait, KEVIN got kicked out?? At least he kept trying to 'perform'. Adam's lip syncing was unforgivable! At times Adam was not even trying. Say nothing that Adam did not even hold a microphone in his hand. If there was anyone in the audience THINKING this was a live performance and had the spell broken by Kevin's strap should have their head examined! And before you ask, i got this album the day it came out in the USA and STILL love it today.

Where are the original Ant People now ?

For decades Mental Health was a subject that people had no real wish to acknowledge or even talk about. But nowadays there's an increasing awareness that there are much more people out there with MH difficulties than you could ever have imagined. And it's not really about labelling people, it's about understanding and educating people - and when I say people, many of them who need educating are those in positions of authority and power and they can often prove the most difficult because of their arrogance and ignorance. And those are 2 issues that I am sure Stuart Goddard aka Adam Ant has had to face, especially in somewhere like London that is crammed packed full of Gobshites.😖☹

Thankyou for this, just awesome!! I love the way he dealt with his mental issues. I have his autobiography and it's a damn good read. I myself with suffer with my mental health and can relate to many of the things and factors within the book itself - one in particular being introvert.

Should have been a huge band. If they ditched the pirate look they'd have been bigger than they were and not ridiculed even though it's nothing to be afraid of.

I actually read that Adam didn't have as much success after he DID ditch the costume and went solo, which is a shame. He had/has so much talent. I remember him when he first appeared on the scene, and of course, nobody had ever seen or heard anything like it before! Incredibly unique style of videos costumes, songs and vocals! I am having a kind of re-discovery right now, at the grand old age of 60! Lol There are some tracks like this one that I wasn't aware of (I was travelling/working at the time so didn't have access to a TV or radio). Planning on getting his autobiography next.

Everyone says that Adam Ant's career fizzled out because he was too "clean". That had nothing to do with it. He was a trendy flavor of the month fad that ran its course, is all. Fad pop trends usually only last a year or two, and he really jumped the shark pretty badly with "Strip".
