i love how you approach your work... almost as a conservator... even if the piece isn't an antique... it is also heartwarming to hear you tell us that you were 13 years young when you built it... well done for being focused and intentional enough to do it at 13... that sets a great example to other 13 year olds... much love xxc

I have some carpentry skills, but I wouldn’t have enough to save this piece. I’m sure that when you move to the end of the video that it will be beautiful. I watch these so that I can gain more carpentry skills to see what one should do when you have an issue with a pieceto me. It’s a learning experience.

I’m grateful that you brought it back to life. You took away the Intimate Beauty of the Design of the Doors and the Intricacies of the Borders. I was also hoping you could have saved the wood instead of Concealing it forever. I am so Disappointed especially because you took such Meticulous Care of fixing everything, except attention to the finer details.

when you said 'what would you do with this' ?.. i thought it could like good if all the flat surfaces were covered over with old style tapestry material and the base stained... it still looks good though and you did a great job fixing it... well done... much love xxc

Hi Nice work. I would have left as much of the old wood exposed as possible to give a sense of age and would have planed only the protrusions of the repairs you made. Finally, just a light sanding

That was a fantastic job. A few times I thought oh no why is he doing it like this, but you proved me wrong. Only thing I would really have done different: I would have oiled it before assembly. But brilliant and respectful restoration!

One important point in Wood working is safety…you did not respect safety procedures in a couple of moments during this video. First, it is not the good way to show Wood working to new users. Secondly, you could loose fingers, or more, doing like you do…be careful, don’t use gloves, keep you hands far from the blades etc…wish you 10 fingers for as long as possible. Best

잘 봤고 잘 만들었습니다. 하지만 조금은 아쉽다고 느껴지는 점도 있네요. 원래는 고재였는데 그 고재를 이용해서 디자인 적으로 익숙한 빈티지 였으면 좋지 않았을까 생각 되고요, 상판에 조금은 싼 미송을 새로 올린것도 아쉽네요. 사람마다 취향이 다르므로, 그냥 새 의자를 원할 수도 있지만 예전에 쓰던, 추억 세월을 느낄 수 있는 감성을 유지한 새 의자였으면 더 좋지 않았을까 하는 개인 의견 입니다^^
