Dude I got mine in June 2019. I think it’s gen 2 with the black nose cone and I ran the heck out of it in my shop and I sold it with the whole kit right before Christmas. It never gave up on me and I do lots of suspension work on light duty to super duty and semi trucks. That impact made me a very nice income for these past 5 years. I got me the new Hercules ultra torque gen 2 impact for Christmas. The earthquake never let me down and still had a lot of life in it. My friend that I sold it to just yesterday told me he’s happy with it and is kicking butt in his hobby car garage. I got lucky it was an aftermarket battery that sat on the shelf for quite some time. a battery shield is recommended for agm batteries in harsh weather conditions.

Very nicely done. If I may add an important detail you missed: the position of the trailing/lead caliper pin (the one with the flat boot on it). If removed to be cleaned/re-greased, it’s important to place it exactly where it was, otherwise the brakes may shake. The way to know where they go is by the movement of the rotor. On the front brakes, if the caliper bracket is mounted on the front of the rotor, towards the front end of the car, the trailing/lead pin with rubber boot should be installed at the bottom of the caliper bracket. On the contrary, if the caliper bracket is mounted towards the rear of the front rotor, then the trailing pin will be installed on the top of the bracket. Great video btw.

...anyone figure out the bit installation instructions? In manual they are pretty weird. I purchased 2 drills, one of them it keeps rotating the chuck with the power button in locked position, or any position while you are trying to install a bit. The second drill locks the chuck as you are tightening the chuck. I does have some slippage from time to time. It seems random. Thanks

I was looking at this video to see how difficult it might be to replace a wheel stud. It didn't look like there's enough space in the front , and even if i cut the dust shield or remove it, i suspect there wont be enough space without removing the wheel bearing/hub?

I got an amgo 9k it's literally the same exact lift as atlas only difference it's red and says amgo. I like it lifting is smooth and it was easy to install. I'd have to say atlas is just as good.
