does the suction cup itself have adhesive on the back to stick to the windshield? I just bought one of these and the suction cup has a plastic film on it you pull away to reveal a sticky surface.

Same question. Do you remove the plastic film for windshield suction mount. I would assume not but when I tried to attach itwith the plastic left on it fell of after about 5 minutes.
