I'm in the process of adding fog lights to my 2017 Ram 1500. Already bought a new bumper with the outlet in it for the lights. Wanted to keep everything looking stock. Bought a new headlight switch. Bought a new aux light panel and a new fuse bank under the hood. Unable to do the work myself as it is out of my ability. It's becoming so crazy stupid expensive that I'm about to give up. Throw all the stuff in the trash and go back to the original bumper.

Still great, plenty of fishing trips, road trips, no complaints so far!

Shouldn’t need anything extra! I would recommend welding your new muffler in though, i ran it with the just straps for a few months to see if i liked the sound. But soon as i found the muffler i liked it welded it in. You can run just the straps if you want at your own risk since they can fall off😂 I would recommend welding it soon as you know you are happy with that muffler!

I have a set of electric cutouts so ill be redoing the exhaust again and adding some! But yes you could do something like that as well, would just require some more work and fabrication!

Hmm not sure, sounds like it’s only getting power on the unlock obviously, not sure what fuse tap you have it wired up to or if you tapped straight into a wire. If its wired to your lights, have you tried to manually turn your lights on and see if it is working when the rest of the lights are on?

Used my “seat heater” fuse even though my truck doesn’t have seat heaters, i still have the slot. If your light has an inline fuse already then it should already be protected, but id throw a 2 or 5 or something low in your fuse tap

No we are just piggybacking power when we are using a fuse tap. If your light came with an inline fuse already, that should mean that the light is technically already protected, therefore whatever fuse you use to power the light doesn’t matter too much. I would put in a lower fuse though if you have it, 2 or 5 maybe since it doesn’t draw a lot of power. Tap into one that isn’t crucial for your vehicle to operate in case anything happens. I used my “seat heater” slot, even though my truck doesn’t have seat heaters, it still has a fuse for them in the box, so find a slot that only has power when your vehicle is running and that will make it turn on and off with your vehicle, hope that helps!

@@DakotaNationRacing yessssssss thank you so much and I had order a fuse tap from AliExpress and it came with a 10 fuse so I’ll be better off buying a lower one and using tht instead with it ?

If your light already has an inline fuse then it should technically be protected already and a 10 is a bit high but should still work. If your light doesn’t already have a fuse in line then i would maybe go try and find a 2 or 5 that’ll work from your local auto parts store

Sorry I don’t have that car so i’m not exactly sure. You can always take it to your local stereo shop and they can help you out wiring it up, finding a good wire to tap into under the hood even, hope that helps!

Not sure, TONS of people run straight pipes and I’ve never had and issues on any of my vehicles personally, if it does affect anything i could never tell!

Mostly that affects 4 cylinders

None!😂 its just headers then about 3’ of straight pipe off the headers
