Interestingly, I've found that lots of the Pokémon weights line up with specific years. My best example is that Charizard weighs 199.5 lbs, 1995 being the original intended year of release

thank you! I really wanted to focus on the audio side of this video as much as possible. When there was a sound effect I could play that wouldn't hurt the tone of the story I really wanted to put it in. Like - The Gen 4 GTS theme playing when the girl first gets Disabled. - I played the sing sound effect whenever it was mentioned - Whenever it was meant to be dialogue coming from an ingame text box I tried to really embed the immersion with the Press A sound effect And A few others - Such as near the end when she drops the DS I grabbed my childhood DS and gently dropped it on my wooden desk, and also near the end when She was saving her game I grabbed one of my other DSs and my own soul silver cartridge and recorded the saving audio there since I really wanted to have the extra sounds of the minor background music, and the sounds of the player navigating the menu to get to the save button. One of the ones I enjoyed was doing the Ponyta cries, mainly because as mentioned in this and the previous videos I've been playing a lot of Pokemon Moon, and I'm in that one old western town on Akala Island grabbing Eevee's for Pokedex completetion and every now and then in the background, you'd hear the cry of Mudbray and I really found that cool, and wanted to do something similar for this since it first helped me find a youtube channel that just has almost every pokemon cry from generations 5 and below isolated and sampled for me to have for future videos. Sorry if this comment was a bit too long haha I always love hearing behind the scenes stuff about projects

Unless youre playing the ultra games you wont be able to evolve magnaton into magnazone untill youre on your way to the league. If you havnt faced the totem alolan marrowak yet then id recommend catching a cubone and use the move theif, obtained via TM, to steal the thick club the totem alolan marrowak is holding. Pikachu and raichu are always a decent option in any region...except sinnoh and unova cause its too power crept there but this aint sinnoh or unova so it should be fine. If youre playing the ultra games you can scan a qr code to get the ash cap pikachu for extra novelty.

You know Nanu saying "arrest the hell out of you" is fake, right? The robot at the battle facility implies that humanoid robots that think for themselves are found relatively openly, and yet the AI professor is relegated to the crater because they're apparently too advanced to exist where the crystals can't charge them. Which means that they could hopefully adapt their power sources. But also why would we have to keep them a secret?! The despair bed and the bent golf clubs are in the same house. There's a REALLY messed up story in that house. My favorite battle line is from gen 3. "I SWALLOW SLUDGE TO TRANSFORM MYSELF. I HAVE A GROWTH OF SUCTION CUPS"

oh wow, my bad I didn't mean to spread the misinformation. What I did for the most part while making this video was find these on google images or take the pictures myself. Due to Nanu's extremely blunt and deadpan nature that dialogue "Arrest the hell out of you right now" fit really perfect with my own personal idea of his character in my head so I didn't even question its cannonicity. I'll try and be a bit more thuro in my research going on wards, I appreciate the feedback : ) oh I don't belive I've heard of that fact about the AI professors being unable to leave the crater? I thought they just wanted to continue the original Sada/Turo's research of Paradox pokemon. Though if they can't leave without the Tera crystals to charge them why are they ok leaving the creator when they go through the time machine? Also man I know right! Gen 7 has such good character writing. Escpically with its flavor text. Guzma's parent's house is FILLED with little drops of characterizations for Guzma's childhood The bent Golfclubs implying an abusive household that set Guzma on the negative path all those 2nd place trophies while Kikui got 1st, though was helped to be cooled by Hala who was his mentor But after not being picked as a trail captain he left Hala and Kikui and gathered all the isolated and alone members of Alola to create Team Skull a home for those who don't have one. I feel the Anime did Guzma so perfectly hahaha Also yeah, I love all the battle frontier dialogue, I feel they make great use of the battle facilities being only something a quarter of the fanbase will interact with and they just get to have the NPCs go off the rails in quirky dialogue

@sparksaturn1731 I feel like if anyone said "hell" in a Pokémon game it would be extremely widely reported on. The AI says "that is why I cannot leave this place" but when they go through the machine it's assumed that they'd be ending up in the same place but a different era. Plus they seemed to take on a hypercharge in the last battle so it's possible they knew this could save them, since the professor had studied Terapagos and when we're exposed to it our tera orbs no longer need to be refilled. But other robots like the one we supposedly see in this video (assuming they're telling the truth and aren't just a dedicated larper) wouldn't have access to *either* of those things. There's also someone in the battle chateau in Kalos who claims to be a robot...
