We loved our stay at the Four Seasons Otemachi in Tokyo. Great view of the palace since their lobby is on the top floor of the building. I'll have to check out some of these ones on the list now!

Hi! Great video! Thank you! I just booked Hotel Metropolitan and a few other hotels late last night without much research. Glad I came across your video this morning when I am more awake! It affirmed my choice of Hotel Metropolitan. How was the katsu restaurant and the Muji buffet? Any other restaurant suggestions? I will also be visiting Tokyo (Hotel Washington Shinjuku), Hakone ( Mikawaya ryokan), and Yokohama (Intercontinental Yokohama Grand). I chose Hotel Washington because it is connected to the Shinjuku station where I plan to take the Romance train to Hakone. Mikawaya Ryokan looks really nice! Got a really great rate at Intercontinental Yokohama Grand and it’s cheaper than staying in Tokyo before heading to Haneda for my flight home to Hawaii. Please share your thoughts on hotel choices, restaurants, etc.

I saw another video of Excel Hotel Shibayu and the room and bathroom looks much more old and dated (which has put me off staying here) than the room you stayed in. Is your room/ floor a particular level for example executive level etc? Or has the whole hotel been renovated?
