Hello Merti. ∆S = Q/T. In the problem, Heat is also the Non-flow Work, and it was a rate, KJ/min. Hence, when Q/T, the unit was KJ/min•K. It really depends on the problem.

@@jnad11 hello. F=ma/k, where k is the proportionality constant. isa sa values nya ay 32.174 [lb(mass) ft]/[lb(force) s^2]. the value can be interpreted as for every 32.174 lb(mass) that is accelerated at 1 ft/s^2 there is a 1 lb(force).

@@marlondatahan7178 sa problem, it's already stated to find the work done on air. Meaning expected na dapat negative ang answer. So nung lumabas na negative yung work, then you may remove it from your final answer.

Solve nyo muna yung mass flow rate, similar to what I did. Then divide na ung Internal Energy with mass flow rate. Btu/min ÷ lbm/min. The resulting unit would be Btu/lbm.

No sir, I thought if our f'(x) is changes from positive to negative that is our maximum point, while on the other hand if our f'(x) changes from negative to positive that is our minimum point.

the volume of a cylinder is equal to the area of the base multiplied by the height. ang shape ng base ay circle. so area is pi*d squared/4. that's the reason why merong squared yung diameter.

It's just a matter of preference. If I were to use lbm, then I would use k = 32.174 lbm ft/lbf s^2, instead.

Hello Hannah, What I did was, I multiplied 25 to both sides of the equation. If only 5 is multiplied the equation becomes V - 6/5 ln (5V + 11) + 5y = C. The reason why 25 was chosen is to eliminate the coefficient that is in fraction for simplicity.
