The wages of sin is death. All sin is offensive to God, it’s an act of rebellion. God is also a just God and no sin goes unpunished by Him. All sin is either punished in Christ Jesus, or apart from Him. Jesus laid down His life for us by taking on the full wrath of God upon Himself to make atonement of our sins. He was a substitutionary sacrifice. It should’ve been you, or me, but He chose to take our place. He died in our place and was judged for our sins, but after 3 days, He was resurrected. It’s up to you to accept what He did by giving your life to Him. If you reject Jesus, you’re choosing to pay for your own sins by suffering the eternal wrath of God after you die. However, God is faithful and just to forgive you if you turn to Jesus, not with lip service but with all your heart, and ask for forgiveness and repent, which means to forsake your sins. Because God is offended by sin, that means He is the ONLY one who can forgive sin and He WANTS to forgive you. He will cleanse you of all unrighteousness and you will receive a new life. You will be “born again” in the words of Jesus.

I have noticed that you can express some decent nuance with your english, but you still have a habit of putting "e" at the start of words with "s", such as "estoodies" instead of "studies". So although your pure ability in english is reasonably high, the phonotactics in english are unnatural for you. I am not trying to diminish you in any way, it's just an interesting observation that I think I also struggle with.

@Elisian-yo8xq
@Elisian-yo8xq 8 күн бұрын
Ought man, if I told you the hundreds of words I don't remember in my anki... that's the problem with it, I would say to not take it super seriously. What specifically happens is that you don't find those words during your immersion, so you don't really acquire them, also another thing is that we don't really pay attention to the words we learn during immersion and so it feels like we are not progressing. But keep it up man, just do your immersion, memorize words in anki, and if you don't remember a word, it's not the end of the world, you'll learn that word when it's necessary.
@Haillan15
@Haillan15 8 күн бұрын
There were so many times in my last 11 months and even now I learn new words and forget them almost immediately then a month later I hear it and know it without much effort. It takes a lot of time and exposure to acquire words and grammar patterns. At some point you’ll come to a point where you’re ok if you don’t remember a word or be ok with being in a plateau. Keep pushing. The only way we fail in learning a language is when we give up. There are still some common words I recognize in real time but can’t remember the meaning and over time the meaning becomes obvious.

Hello! I'm quite new to this whole immersion learning thing. I am on my third month and only starting immersion about a month ago. Is learning and studying grammar all that important to understanding? I already know a ton of words and phrases because of anime and japanese video games. And after only about a month I could roughly understand a lot of things without studying all the grammer particles and usages. for example through pure listening i was able to figure out the meanings and usages of 私、僕、でも、か、が、俺 and more. Should I dive into grammer guides or stick to listening and vocabulary? By the way, I love your channel and am surprised you don't have more subs! Thank you!

Great videos! I hope you don’t mind a bit of constructive feedback. You probably know you have an accent-nothing wrong with that, but one thing to consider is your pace. You tend to speak a little fast, which can make some words harder to catch without subtitles. My suggestion: try slowing down by about 25% and use that extra time to focus on clearly articulating each word. It’ll make a big difference in how easily people understand you.

@@endouerick7519 I clarify it in the reading bit, but at least for me, listening is way harder in a language like English, while in Japanese listening is just way easier (again, for me).
