I put these in, same ones you show here. They don’t seem as bright as the factory. Now I don’t have them back in the bike, but they immediately appear much more dim. Thoughts?

Thank you !! I’m doing mine right now . I didnt have a marker so I took a picture of board closeup . The beveled side is pretty easy to see . I’ve found so far the hardest part is soldering the new light on . Getting it to stay still in the right spot but all n all its going pretty smooth . Thank you for the lesson!

I found that it's easier to just use the existing solder it's faster and cleaner..I had 2 LED not making good contact so the rest of the lights didn't light up. Once I reheated them .they all worked good

Thanks for this video. I just did this to mine. I'm curious as to how you ensure your needle is at true zero on re assembly? I put mine back on and plugged it in and it moves off zero when powered up.

can you please tell me if that gauge faceplate is silver or white? can't quite tell from the video. thanks. i've been trying to find a white gauge that looks OEM but i've only been able to find silver. but if silver actually looks kinda 'white' then that might work

It is pretty important that you heat the three main course dishes, they use up a lot of fat for food presevation. You guessed correctly about those flame pills, there should be a kind of metal snowflake plate that you bend into shape of a little tower and you use it to make fire and heat stuff. Otherwise, great job, a lot of foreigners I've seen trying Russian MRE didn't even bother finding out what's in the box and were just doing things randomly like blind kittens. Keep it up!

Not so poor really. It's more stereotype than true. It has 6th pace in list of countries by GDP (purchasing power parity) and 9th by population. Educate your self. Food here is more natural than USA in general, the same about MRE. It's amount of quality that you would pay extra in USA.

Bacon were salted boiled lard. It goes as huge energy bonus in cold weather. this is what people from places like Germany, Norway, Ukraine, Russia would eat. Usually cold on bread, but might be used as cooking fat or grease for whatever gear needs greasing. Not everyone likes it. One you called "lamb" were straight beef liver pate, no butter included. also there were just one coffee as they would issue you coffee for morning only. lunch and dinner goes with tea. same not just in MRE, but in army canteens, coffee at morning only. Mistery pill were multivitamin. Tin of apple sause were just sugar free apple puree.

RIPPAS77CLASSIC to my knowledge that’s the only way to test it unless you know what the voltage and run a separate power supply. I tested mine while the bike was still apart by just plugging it in and turning it on. No need to put it all back together just to test it.
