Ask your doctor about cologuard, it comes in the mail, that is a test for colon cancer.

Yes, they give pills. But they aren’t fun either. ( to prep for the colonoscopy). I had to take 12 within a half hour , I think. To be honest I have forgotten. It was awful too. They are huge, & swallowing those horse pills was very difficult. I remembering throwing up the second batch. The next morning at 4:00 a.m. I had to do 12 more. In a 30 minute time frame. Take one, wait 2 minutes, keep that up it made CB me throw them up. However, I did get cleaned out the nite before in a sufficient manner, making it satisfactory , not needing to cancel & re-do all that prep crap all over. Pills &/or the liquid stuff is definitely the most horror about a colonoscopy. The procedure, pice of cake! Lol. They told me I was laughing while having mine done. How embarrassing!! Lol. I’m out cold, but yet laughing?! 🤦🏽‍♀️. The end result was, no Polyps! Just a tiny one like a pimple they said. Well, that’s over till 5 more yrs. ( I’m 67). My 1st one. I know. I went way longer than what Dr.’s say it should be. I dreaded it terribly is why. I’m so sorry to hear of so much you’re dealing with. Prayers for you! 🙏. I accidentally landed on your channel. Diverticulitis is so common it’s seems anyways! I too have it. However…. I eat anything I want & never do have any effects or issues at all! Makes me wonder if mine healed or what’s the deal. Oh gosh, it’s hell going through all that. I know! Little over a month ago, I woke from a little nap. My right eyelid was closed. What the heck?!? Three water on my face. No change. So…called Dr. is it something o should worry about? Dr said can you can hear in 20 minutes? Yup. Little to no reaction of pupil to that eye. Left the room came back in like 2 or 3 minutes. Go to hospital across the street, now. Going to run tests. Ok. ER room, staff zoom! CT & MRI scans without and with contrasts. Dr comes in, nurses. “You’re being admitted. You had a stroke”. What?!? Yup. There for 3 days. Hope things get better for both of us!!! 🙏❤️🙏

I have Diverticulitis as well. I hope they gave you a diet plan to help with the pain. I have to watch what I eat all the time. I tell ya, getting older ain't for sissies! I take care of a 91 year old mother who has dementia (she lives with us) and it's affecting my health. Prayers 🙏 for you, Sharon, that you get to feeling better and say a prayer for me.. Glad you said what you had done and what they found. Lots of us have the same issues and afraid to find out what is causing it. Also embarrassed to talk about it. I'm sorry to hear about the diverticulitis. I was diagnosed in 2005. Suffered attacks starting in 2015. Had a rupture in 2022. Make sure you follow a low stress life, also the diet you were advised. For me, it was stress more so than food. After the rupture I've had more issues than before so make it a point to follow the orders,believe me, my body isn't the same. Take care of you! Sharon, I hope you feel better soon. I want to say that you have been blessed with the best head of hair, gorgeous and it grows so fast. I’m 59 and my hair is thinning and breaking off so I’m fascinated when women our age have great hair. I’m sorry about your sick family members. I’ve had a colonoscopy and it’s no fun drinking the liquid but I couldn’t feel a thing. I can’t wait for fall and winter bc it’s hotter than hades here just like it is in your state. Take care. Hi, Sharon! So nice to see you! Girl, I’ve been dealing with digestive issues for years! I’ve had 5 colonoscopies and finally, the last one I had they did biopsies and I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Flare ups are no fun and often debilitating, but it’s something that will probably be an ongoing and I’m learning along the way. Do lots of research and watch tons of videos to educate yourself. You’re going to be just fine 🤗

Hi miss sharon, glad 2 c u back. Glad u had the colonoscopy done. I had 2 do one a month ago and i had 2 drink that awful stuff 4 2 days, 2 whole gallons!!!it was worth it though because they removed 7 polyps!!!! Hope u find a grocery store. Blessings from hit Florida
